FLOGGER23 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 I have the curiosity, what if i want to create a bumpmap for raised panels/rivets and one for engraved ones, how possible it is???
FastCargo Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Far as I know, you can't overlay two bumpmaps on the same piece of mesh. But having a bumpmap that shows ups and downs is easy. FC
russouk2004 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Black usually shows depth, while white gives you ,highlights..(.raised look..) on bumpmaps make your basic bumpmap base ..I usually use a jpeg.....I set all panel lines to pure black 100% opacity sunken rivets\panel lines for raised rivets..... set to 100% opacity...black....then inverse the colour to white...purer the colour the deeper the bumpmap
