+Muesli Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Hi all,I had a wonderful trip today to the relatively new National Military Museum at the old Camp Amsterdam (Soesterberg) Airbase location.Too bad Derk Bodegom was ill, because I looked forward to finally meet him inperson and get the VIP tour... but well, I will return!It was fabulous, and whenever you visit NL I recommend you visit it!I myself was happy to see an 'old friend' of mine; the Mercedes Benz GD290Geländewagen ambulance which I drove in Bosnia back in 1994.Although not complete, it was a nice trip down memory lane and it was nice tosee some vehicles in the white UN livery here...A fabulous visit which i will repeat, I recommend it to anyone!!!Muesli 4 Quote
