In 1988 the Mirage fleet was upgraded by IAI at the Maintenance Command (CAMAN) in Madrid Air Base. They received Kfir-C.7-style canards, flight-refuelling capability and a new navigation and fire-control systems. The fleet was further upgraded during 2001 to include night vision systems and laser-guided weapons. The resulting aircraft has been designated 5COAM. In October 1996 the remaining 5COR recon version was converted into a standard 5COAM, after having its recon equipment removed. By 2004, the FAC had lost seven Mirages in separate incidents.

      This add-on shows the improved Mirage F-1C for the French Armée de l'Air.
       
      F1C-RWR specifics:
      R550 R530 S530F, no CLB4/8, AUF2-F1 no radio-altimeter Seat Mk4 Upgraded Radar CyranoIVM RWR BF Barax/Phimat capability (we have assumed, lack of documentation, also possible that F1 used Barracuda1/2 in the first years, we currently don't know)  
      Covered units :
      Escadron de Chasse 1/10 Valois.
      Escadron de Chasse 1/12 Cambrésis.
      Escadron de Chasse 2/12 Cornouailles.
      Escadron de Chasse 3/12 Cornouailles.
      Escadron de Chasse 1/30 Valois.
       
      Installation :
      - Copy and paste the Objects folder in your mod folder.
