F86 Advise - If You Have Some.

I have downloaded Wrench's F-86F plane and added to the folders involved.

Everything seems to be working but there are no engine sounds of any kind.

What am I screwing up? If there is something to screw up I will find it.

The read me says to have the KAW update loaded, but I now see that there

are two versions of said update. Could it be I have the wrong one?

 

Any help would be a great help.

ok, since we don't know WHICH F-86F (or which Sabre in general), perhaps you could provide a link?

 

IF it's for the A/E/F KAW pack, there IS a step left out of the instruction:

 

As I always reccomend, unzip the "sf2_kaw_sabres_pak.zip" to a temp folder or your desktop or somewhere else that's easy to find

Then, simply, copy/paste the Objects folder supplied directly =OVER= your existing /Objects folder.

 

Copy/Paste the Effects folder into your KAW mods folder (or any place else you plan to use these aircraft)

 

optional: copy/paste the Flight folder into your KAW mods folder. You don't have to, if you don't want to.
 
You'll probably be asked "OVERWRITE?", just say Yes.

I've already seperated out the various folders (Aircraft, Decals, etc), so they'll drop right where they're supposed to be.

 

I seem to have forgotten to add:

 

"Copy/Paste the supplied Sounds folder DIRECTLY over your existing /Sounds folder. Allow the overwrite.

 

 

 

But anyone seeing said folder should be able to figure out it needs to be added to their mods folder
