greyhawk Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 My C: drive is getting full. I want to point my strike fighter 2 to a D: drive, and have all my strike fighter files in the D: drive instead of C:. Can anyone tell me how to do this. I would appreciate it.
Zola25 Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 (edited) You can literally copy and paste the stock SF2 folders to wherever you like, you'll need to make new shortcuts but this will work. Assuming you use a mods folder, you can also move that to the d: drive. All you then need to do is find your options file, which defaults to %UserProfile%\Saved Games\Thirdwire\Strike Fighters 2\options.ini, then in this file under [Mods] change the directory location to point to your new mods folder. greyhawk Posted July 11, 2015 Author Posted July 11, 2015 Hey guys, you helped a lot. The only problem i have right now is my terrain only shows germany, desert storm and Vietnam. The file looks good with everything. can you help. here is the file terrain.
+MigBuster Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 That looks like the default saved games location on C above - is it? If so it should only have a few ini files in it now - look at the screenshots I put up.
greyhawk Posted July 11, 2015 Author Posted July 11, 2015 No that is the D: drive. I decided to make a directory exactly like C; so i wouldnt be confused. Actually what i ended up doing id finding as many terrains as possible and download them again and it seems to be working but i have to wait until tomorrow to do the rest. Thanks for all you help.
