Hurricane Joaquin, as seen from the ISS

Recommended Posts

This is from our local news paper's webpage.  It's Hurricane Joaquin, as seen from the International Space Station, looking west towards Florida (the large illuminated land mass).  Note the over-the-horizon sunlight, reflecting off of, and high-lighting the ionosphere.

That's a great photo. I just hope this hurricane blows back out to the Atlantic instead of reaching the East Coast.
