skyknight0721 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Guys I am encountering some weird graphical anomalies when I am playing, such as large white terrain tiles appear and disappearing and some weird shadow anomalies on the aircrafts which also appears and disappears. To have an idea of what I am talking about see the images below. Please note that I have been playing SF2 merged with latest update (July 2013) since some years now and never encountered such problems before and I just updated my driver last week. Could it have something to do with my updated graphics driver? I am currently using an Intel HD Family graphics card. Quote
+Menrva Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 (edited) Same as with nVidia drivers, it seems that Intel's recent drivers bring the same anomalies. Revert to your old drivers, and everything should be fine. Out of curiosity, are you using Windows 10? I'm wondering why there are so many bugs that were introduced by video card drivers recently, although it happens on a variety of operative systems, not only on Windows 10, as far as I know. SF2 is not receiving updates for two years, but if it worked before, it should work even on latest driver releases; I guess that they (nVidia, Intel, maybe ATI too) don't even test their drivers before official release. Nope I still us Windows 7. I agree most new driver updates are causing anomalies on games which came out earlier. I wonder if future updates will solve these problems. Thanks for the advice, I'll give it a try and revert to my previous driver to see if it solves the problem. Quote
skyknight0721 Posted October 28, 2015 Author Posted October 28, 2015 try forcing dx9 in the options.ini It did the trick! Thank you so much, I didn't have to revert to older drivers. Also I've observed that the game plays smoother now Quote
