mongoose44 Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Well the old ? or problem; getting the profile programme to work, which it doesn't! So... any suggetsions? I would programme direct but didn't see how to bind in prog to keys in game. Does one do it there or thru the .ini file? Otherwise anyone have a profile which they know works. AFIK I have latest drivers/Madcatz SmartTechnology Prog. Quote
Dave63 Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 To be honest, I don't fool with the profile software for SF2. I just program it using SF2. Quote
LegitPilot Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) I have a controls .ini mapped for my X52 (The blue lights one) If you tell me where you want your controls I can whip a control.ini up for you. EDIT: I meant I would be more than happy to do the Default.ini control file how you want it. Edited October 29, 2015 by LegitPilot Quote
mongoose44 Posted October 29, 2015 Author Posted October 29, 2015 I see how to programme while in game for non shifted keys but not Hats Shifted (pinkie) buttons Not sure how they are designated in the .ini file?? Quote
mongoose44 Posted October 30, 2015 Author Posted October 30, 2015 So... 1. How are modes expressed in the .ini ? 2. Pinkie shift?? I note in one .ini I downloaded the following [DeviceName]JOYSTICK01=Saitek X52 Pro Flight Controller [1]JOYSTICK02=VJoy Virtual Joystick [2]JOYSTICK03=VJoy Virtual Joystick [3] but didn't see any further mention of the latter 2 in the rest of the file. I did see however how to express hat buttons such as JOYSTICK01_POV01_DOWN Quote
mongoose44 Posted November 2, 2015 Author Posted November 2, 2015 OK,,,,,,,, am I correct in that hard to use shift/pinkie directly modded into the .ini? Also not clear how to use modes without a Saitek or Madcatz profiler, which in my case doesn't seem to bind to any of my old sims now ( Win 7 Pro x64). So how to use modes by just using .ini ?? Quote
phispooky Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 Hi, yes I would also be interested in how to configure the mode-switch using only SF2 ini settings. Thanks Quote
