savagkc Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 The Raptor and the P-47 went into the SF2 folder just great but i havent had any luck since then. 1. Tried 4/5 different AC and all it did was create a new folder (with the same name) in SF2 but never ask to overwrite or replace or merge the new AC. Not sure what your definition of "Drop In" is? I've tried a drag and drop and copy / paste or just copying specific files to the correct folder neither plane showed up when i run SF2 programs. I've tried: Ju87A, JU88A4 (V2k) package, LA-9-11, sf2_kaw_f4u5_corsair_pak all in SF2, none worked. Where am i messing up? 2. I changed all the start/stop dates to 1900-2050 in all the installs of SF2. So, I should be able to drop any plane into any of the SF2 installs (Europe, Vietnam, etc) right? Thank you, savagcl PS: PTO = Pacific Theater Operations? MTO = ? Quote
+Wrench Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 do NOT unzip into the games mods folders. Unzip to your desktop or other place that easy to find READ the readme that come with it. 99.9% of the time, the package is already set up for you simply drop the /Objects folder DIRECTLY over your existing /Objects folder PS: PTO = Pacific Theater Operations? MTO = ? seriously?? time to study up on your WW2 history, friend! ETO: (western) Europe MTO: Med & Southern Europe PTO: Pacific CBI: China Burma India SWP: (aka SoWesPac) South west pacific area (New Guinea, Philippines, etc) SEAC (RAF) South East Asia Command (congruent with US CBI) Quote
