 Don't know who else has probably tried this, but I have done it and it is effective. Using the B-24s,(has B-17 cockpits,) I use the center of the steering wheel as a sight and begin the release at that point. Somewhere between the center and bottom should be on target. Make sure your view is extended out to max. May also depend on your altitude,(I'm usually under 3000) but I have a 90 - 95% hit.

don't the newer ones that Veltro and I did some years ago include Crusader's "bomb sight mod"??? I know we added it to a bunch....

 

and if you're flying a heavy at that low altitude....well.... we all know what happened in real life

  Not sure Mr.Wrench, these may be Paskos that I have. No sight on them that I know of unless I just didnt find the sight button!

 Sure like that one they use in ACES HIGH though, thats pretty nice!
