Ugh, a lil help in the right direction

Ok, i'm trying to add small thigns to a F-4e skin, mainly just a "painting" of a girl on the side of a fuselage, but once i got into the game, it turned the skin silver where i put it on :shock:

 

I have corel 9 photoshop, i've used it for modifying the pilots bmps, i jsut need a lil point in the right direction with this.

Make sure that you leave the image the way it was, positionwise that is,

If you turned the canvas 90 degrees you must return it to its original position.

I found a site that had a bunch of WWII type nose art, and have been playin around with puttin em on planes...I might have to shy away from historic type paint and try some conceptial art..I kinda released some stuff under my night fighters..but I have to tell you I have some sweet Ideas...some stuff already started..I have go ahead and finish it up...

I have a book that outlines the different styles of noseart throughout the different eras and war, not with me right now though, i'll try and get it when i go back to my parents, that book and about half my library :shock:
