15th of September is Battle of Britain Day and if you did not know there were a lot of combat experienced pilots from other nations in the battle.

 

Here is a brief story of (Czech) Josef Franticek who was credited by most with the most kills during that period. 

They generally refer to him as being indisciplined because he always broke formation - but tbh if you were told to fly in some of those suicidal formations like the Vic in discipline might be replaced with having more than 2 brain cells.
