Hi, is there a way for a noob and not very savvy computer user to change the colors of the cockpit messages?  In my computer they are dark blue wich makes it very difficult to see.Thank you in advance

You will need to edit the file HUDData.INI in your SF2 Flight folder. The relevant lines (unsurprisingly) are those about Color.

If you don't know how to extract files such as HUDData.INI from the CAT files, you can just copy the text below, which is from the stock HUDData.INI file and paste it to a notepad file.

Then save this file as HUDData.INI and then copy it to your Flight folder. This should give you the stock white message color.

If he's talking about speech subtitles though, there is no way to change their colors; I tried to find a way, but as far as I know they seem to be hardcoded.

Than k you/ First of all, I don't understand the stock white color. I haven't changed anythinga, so it should be white?

And the messages I refer to, they show in dark blue at the lower/center side of the cockpit. They are messages, warnings or advice from ground contro, AWACS, flighmates....very difficult to see as they show over a dard side if cockpit...

Then what I said above applies; I once tried to find a way, but it seems that this small aspect is not moddable, colours for subtitles are hardcoded, they can't be changed by editing some .ini files, so to speak.
