Skyviper 1,101 Posted August 17, 2020 Hello, Some of you may know I have this little project called Quick Aircraft Facts where a particular aircraft is featured in 3 minutes or less. I would like to do one about the F-14 Tomcat; however, DVIDS, the source for Defense Video Imagery released on a Public Domain license, doesn't have a lot of F-14 Video. I did find an archives that had F-14 video but they wanted to charge me $30/per second (which equates to $2,700). Since I'm no where near the 1k sub mark on YouTube I am not going to see any kind of funding at all. Let's face it you can zoom in and zoom out on still images for so long. So my thoughts are this. I can use what little video I'm able to find of the F-14, some still images, and I'm wondering if anyone here has DCS F-14 module and would like to share some video you took. Full credits to you, and links to your website and YouTube channel. If you're interested here's what I'm looking for. 1 carrier launch and 1 landing (in cockpit or external .. either one will be great) In flight action, either flying around, engaging targets, or both. (again up to you if you want to show internal or external) Oh speaking of engaging targets if you're able to get air to ground action for the later variants I'll include that snippet about them too. Firing of the AIM-54 Phoenix missile. (If possible I'd like an external view) Whatever in cockpit or external shots you'd like to include I"ll try to get them in there. And the sweep wings in action (I think my other video I have will show this but I'd like to have another clip) I'll happily work with whatever you send. Also please let me know the name you'd like to have shown in the credits. Clips are going to be short; however, you can send long videos if you'd like and I'll snip what will fit with the QAF presentation. I'm also thinking about doing another series where I'll chat about aircraft with your permission I can feature your F-14 footage again there too and really go into details that would be skipped over or crammed into a nutshell in QAF. Thank you for your time.
