+Brain32 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 I don't get it, which add-on's(aircrafts,terrain,etc.) are for VoW and which are for SFP1. I got VoW recently :) so I rushed here to get some goodies, I downloaded all 3 patches, and the newest weapon pack, but I don't understand are some files for SFP1 only or do they work for both games? I did some reading through the forum but I couldn't find that info, maybe I missed it? - I like this smiley very much :) Quote
+Dave Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 About 90% of the add-ons for SF can be used in WOV. They may require a little tweaking though. SF/WOV are bascially the same game so you shoulve have no problem using what ever you find here for WOV. If you get planes that are past 1973 then you are going to have to tweak the OPTIONS.ini found in your fmain WOV directory. +howling1 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 Also bear in mind that some of the older mods, created before WOV was released, tended to use the F-104G & C-130 as a basis. These planes are not in stock WOV & you'll need a copy of SFP1 to get the C-130 files. Thirdwire has since released their F-104G as an addon for SF Gold. It will install to WOV so that removes issues revolving around mods using the F-104's cockpit... Quote
