Patching Downloaded Version

I purchased the downloadable version of SFP1 from the Strategy First website after I couldn't find it anywhere locally. The version number is 11.05.04 which I beleive is Service Pack 3. So I downloaded patches 3.1 and 3.2 to update the game, but when I run 3.1 I get the message "The file c:\program files\strategy first\strike fighter - project 1\flightsim.exe is not a valid previous version and could not be upgraded."

 

So, what am I to do?

 

Also, the download version seems to install to a different directory then normal versions because I always need to change the install path, even on the official addon aircraft.

I wish I could help, but I have no experience with the downloaded version. I would start with installing all the patch first an see which ones wrork though.

Ah, of course. I installed SP3, and then 3.1 and 3.2 installed fine. Strange though, since it was the same version number.
