omegaeleven Posted March 25, 2024 Posted March 25, 2024 Hello! Again.. I've recently been trying to use Area 88 skins in SF2, when I tried to put a skin in I found, (Shin Kazama's tiger.), it wasn't showing up, just black. Tried to check out the skin, turns out it's different, (Used in SF1, instead of SF2.). Is there any way I can change it to fit the dimensions of the tiger I'm using? Mods I'm using: https://combatace.com/files/file/15116-f-5e-early-versions-pack/ https://combatace.com/files/file/4075-f-5e-tiger-ii-area-88-shin-kazama-first/ (Sorry if my question isn't really that specific, don't really know how to explain it.) Thanks. :) Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted March 25, 2024 Posted March 25, 2024 ok on a 30 second cursory glance youre trying to add a 1st Generation skin to a 2nd Generation aircraft with a completely different model. youre trying to fit a size 9 round peg into a size 2 star shaped hole. i would take this oppurtunity to say this could be your start on creating skins of your own....... 1 1 Quote
omegaeleven Posted March 25, 2024 Author Posted March 25, 2024 (edited) Ah, my fault. Apologies for that. Edited March 25, 2024 by omegaeleven Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted March 25, 2024 Posted March 25, 2024 no worries, its not something readily apparent. the skin doesnt name exactly what aircraft it matches up (ie stock F-4 or Spectres A-10 etc) some first gen skins can go to the second gen. but a large majority of the ones worth it have been done, and most second gen skins are way better than the first gen anyhow (larger sized, allows more detail) Quote
omegaeleven Posted March 25, 2024 Author Posted March 25, 2024 Ohh.. got it. I'll see if I can fix it when I get back home, bit busy. Thank you very much. :) Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted March 26, 2024 Posted March 26, 2024 take your time. the most likely fix will be to create your own skin. it takes longer than a night 99.9% of the time Quote
omegaeleven Posted March 26, 2024 Author Posted March 26, 2024 Got it, are there any templates I can use for the F-5? Thanks again :) Quote
