FatBoy Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Hey! I wonder how many out there actually fly LOMAC with or without the labels on... I'm trying to do it without them and... well... totally different story... Quote
Dagger Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 If I'm looking for a more realistic fight..then no lables. But If I'm just wanting to get a few missiles off the rail then yes...No lables makes LOMAC a very tough game. Quote
FatBoy Posted November 26, 2005 Author Posted November 26, 2005 Yep, agree... Labels on for training and getting familiar with the game... No labels for the real thing... And it gets tough... I can say... Quote
JediMaster Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 I have ZERO hope of avoiding missiles with labels off right now. :) The Jedi Master Quote
Mitch_A Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 The Label problem isnt quite so black and white in my case. The giant labels are too easy yet no labels too difficult. Maybe a small Label that grows and shrinks with distance. Mitch Quote
Stealth HR Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 (edited) Changing the label to only display a caret (" ^ ") is a pretty good middle ground in my opinion, you have to rely on the TVM or optical sight to identify a target - or in case of SEAD missions, the type of ammo they launch against you, be it AA shells or missiles. On the other hand, you have a visual aid that lets you know that something is there, without revealing just what your target is. Keeps the challenge, but helps immensely if your computer just can't display an image so crisp that you can see a pixel at 15 km that's supposed to represent a jet. ;) Edited December 23, 2005 by Stealth HR Quote

Pay close attention to the "Missile Evading" segment, and you will survive long enough to make it back in time for corn flakes.:) Let me know how you made out. Quote
