1. Yeah, It really threw me off on my attack run...but we got'em.
2. Super Cheeze. I had to FORCE the kids to sit all the way through the BR Movie. I used to quote the little side kick robot, "be-de-bede-BUCK!" and when we watched it my wife said, "OH..that's a movie quote..." I guess she thought I was some kind of nut before that.
3. Hi, Does anyone know what I should look at to troublshoot these Headlight Arc Blanks on the Zils?
4. The first plain f-11 pictured is your VF21 for the SP2 version of the F-11. I de-insignia'd it and I've been working on some cut and past stuff (below), but it's pretty rough and demonstrates my need to come here for help! I didn't find anything but navy base (Grey/White) skins for the F-11.
5. well, you know, I stole the skull and bones from the Navy Squadron, but hey, we're Mercs...right...
6. You guys that built this F-11f-1 and all of the Skins, THANKS! Great Job. I'm just Merc'in it.
7. Howdy, I'm looking for an "early desert" &/or Clean "Aluminum" Merc Skin(s) for 1959-1962 Grumman F11F-1 Tiger (SF1&2) by Fleet-Defender and Team. This is my (Merc Campaign) F-86-40 (FJ-3M) remedy(an incredable skin from "whiteknight06604ATaol.com" Modified in pics below); and all it's got are Navy Skins. Maybe there are instructions somewhere, I have Adobe PS 5.0 but i'm only good with SOLID Colors( see attached). Thanks. Padre AT Yahoo.com also thanks to the "Turkey Skin" F-100 man and the F-4E SEA Skin Dude(s or etts) & F-11-F-1 Squadron Dude(s or etts)
8. Found a thread... http://combatace.com/topic/67458-iff-lol/page__p__521971__hl__iff__fromsearch__1#entry521971
9. Does SF2 have an IDENT, a way to, after lock-on and push a key to get a return that lets the pilot know if the target is friend or foe? Thanks.
10. Fubar has been very helpful with several of my noob questions regarding both SF1 and SF2. He has repeatedly displayed both generousity and patience. As it turns out two sorties later the AIM-9E became available. So much better than the B. This is also, after several years of owning SF1, that I've ever progressed into the 60's where the Gun-Toting F-4Bs or Cs were avaialble. I never would fly them without machine guns. WOW, what a monster.
11. Thanks FallenPhoenix, very helpful. Yes, Fubar, I can see that you've moved the thread, and I'm okay with that. Furthermore, I can generally be counted as one that prefers more realism, than less. Although, at the time I posted the question, I had no idea that either the AIM-9D was a Navy Only Missile nor that the F-4C was an Airfarce only bird. Since I'm flying it in a Fictional Mercenary Squadron, involved in a non-historic campaign presented directly from the vendor, I'm not sure that I should have realized that all my B's were gone while there's a STACK of D's over in the supply window due to the previously stated historical facts. Thank you & FallenPhoenix, again, for the clarification.
12. Thanks Vamp! I'll give it a try. As for Fubar, I guess, we know why they posted this as a sticky:
Of course, I do appreciate Fubar's point; and wonder, WHAT IS the difference between the B Model and D model? was the D better, or simply a Navy designation?
13. (rubbing hands in delight)...now, where's that hanger with old Dhimar WWII surplus... thanks.
14. Like it say's in the topic description I Can't load AIM-9Ds on F-4C. This is out of the box, so, I extracted the Load.ini for the F-4C it say's AIM-9E-2. So, Since I'm able to load AIM-9Bs, I'm scratching my head. Is there a fix?
15. Thanks for the update. I had to give the Virtual NE Texas Blackberry "Wine" to Virtual Welder. He keeps babbling about gunpods...we're looking into it.
16. Plural...a pair; Nice. But I'm not sure they had even thought about Gunpods in late '50s. I'll look into it.
17. Fubar, You just don't want me to have any fun. What if I make the forward Fuel tank smaller, or remove it all together?, have welder will modify...? (of course I realise 200 gallons is a lot of fuel to get rid of.) I'll also throw in some of our quality virtual NE Texas Hard Blackberry Cider. Hmm...
18. Okay, I'll fess up. The purpose of my previous post regarding MaxFuel in the F-100D has to do with selfishly adding Ammo Space, 200rds/gun; i would think an additional 800 HE-I M56A3 at +1to+5 (assuming the pilot is station 0)station would realistically require lightening the Aft to Mid Nose section of any of the proposed Aircraft (F-100d, F-86-40, A-4E<). But then again, maybe Im completely off base. I mean why not...it's not like I'm going to be held up because of some multi-player ini check, Are some old timers from the era around; or fine researches that have come across some records of various Aircraft field modifications that can justify my inability to hit anything at a higher resolution, or, perhaps, genuine improvements like better missiles, etc and so on... Anyone?
19. I knew someone would show up with something like that! RTFM, eh? Can you confirm or DIS-Confirm, my calculations? Thanks!
20. per wiki (Im sure I have a real book around here somwhere...but this is quicker) "Avgas has a density of 6.02 lb/U.S. gal at 15 °C, or 0.721 kg/l" Of course the density would vary depending on the time of year, altitude, and temperature of the enviroment which the measurement was being taken. The above is "Standard" starting point. if this is true and we are metric, then the notation MaxFuelAmount=1320.9 for the F-100D fwdFuelCell is: 952.37 Liters of fuel (or 251.62 U.S. Gal) I can't check it, because this is just the forward fuel cell.
21. Thanks!
22. Shep! You rock! Thanks for your hanger screens and effects fixes! and especially

23. I see the Iranian version. I guess it's not the long wing with the slats?
