Lomac V1.02 (beta 12)
Chaingun replied to SlickWili's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
I concur the waiting is getting rediculous. First it's going well, then it's not. All of this should have been done before the release of the program. But then again, that's not how you make money. It's just getting really frustrating to think that Pacific Fighters and BOB will probably be released before this patch.... SIMHQ forum is just about dead now. -
:D LOL, I know where your coming from there MJ, If it's tooo loud, your too old. I think I fall more into the I'm too old now. Wasnt back then, but....... You still gotta fight for your right..........TOOO PARTY.

Lomac V1.02 Patch Update
Chaingun replied to SlickWili's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
Just hope this comes fruition and my patience can hold out. It looks to be a great advance for the game. Keep up the good work E.D. :D -
Ditto what MJ just said, seems to be the right words. Salute

FarCry works great on my 9600XT, smooth at mostly high settings, granted this is just with the demo, as I don't play too many first person shooters, but had heard alot about this game, so had to try it. Sorry about your experience, it may have been an incompatibility, or a bad driver set, I don't use the Omega's myself as the ATI Cats do a great job for me. Running the 4.4's without any problems at the moment.

Some Word On The Upcoming Patch
Chaingun replied to pcpilot's topic in IL-2 Series / Pacific Fighters / Cliffs of Dover: General Discussion
Not 100% certain, but the B-25 will not be made flyable until the launch of Pacific Fighters is what I've read, but it's just speculation on my part. Haven't seen it listed anywhere as of yet as a flyable. So much for hoping...... -
Been watching the Band of Brothers being broadcast on the History Channel this week, and I can tell ya. This really makes you feel for what these guys go through in a real war (at least as close as you can get to it without being involved in it). It's sad that we as a society still can't manage to come up with a better way to deal with our differences than to kill each other. Maybe one day we'll be able to sit down and work out ideas and differences in a calm and rational manner. Great program otherwise, very well put together. Anyway, enuff of that stuff. Back to real life. ;)

Looking For Confirmation...
Chaingun posted a topic in IL-2 Series / Pacific Fighters / Cliffs of Dover: General Discussion
Pacific Fighters, Ubisoft’s new flight combat title, will launch this fall! Backed by the Oleg Maddox team, Pacific Fighters allows players to participate in the most compelling Pacific air war experience ever created. Fly planes on either side of the conflict, including U.S., Japan, Great Britain, or Australia. There are more than 40 flyable aircraft, including the F6F Hellcat, the deadly Japanese Zero, and the UK’s Supermarine Seafire. In addition, for the first time in the 1C: Maddox game series, players will have the option to take-off and land on aircraft carriers during combat. “We’re extremely proud and excited to bring Pacific Fighters to the combat flight sim audience because we know they’re going to be very pleased with improvements to the award-winning IL-2 game engine and enjoy the new Pacific war setting,” said producer Ilya Shevchenko. “Players will appreciate the variety of famous fighters, however, in this title more than any previous Maddox sim, we’re emphasizing flyable bombers such as the SBD Dauntless, Aichi Val, Mitsubishi G4M Betty, and at least four versions of the North American B-25 Mitchell.” Players will be able to target enemy ships, vehicles, airfields and aircraft on one of the 16 new maps, including Guadalcanal, Pearl Harbor and Singapore. The online multiplayer options allow players to engage in live battles ranging in style from free-for-all dogfights to cooperative campaigns. Pacific Fighters Confirmation is there front page at il2sturmovik.com YEEEHAAAWWWWWWWWW -
I remember back when the Rippers lost our nutz (A/C 100) in the North Atlantic, Blue water ops and no where to bingo. Sour Tanker, and the A7 that was launched to try and fuel him said he only seen the seats come out of it. 1 F-14 down for running out of gas. Both pilots got retrieved and were okay. (Thankfully) edited to clarify. :D

that unfortunately works for both ATI and Nvidia, guess when you have to write a driver for so many different platforms (which should be a standard base anyway) you never truly know what your gonna get until you do it.

I'm there for ya. Hopefully that will help a little anyway...

Try a program called HiJackThis Hijackthis that might give you some information Jumpin in before I read the whole thread. Apologies..... SALUTE

Like I said nope no more posts........ My thoughts are out there and you can't change them. lol. Guess we'll just agree to disagree and go on about livin.

Dag, like you know what your talking about...... "note a hint of sarcasm there." :D They can beat each other to death for all I really care. ;) I just don't watch it due to the violence and you know me bud. This thread started over a cheap shot that in the real world would land you in prison for Felonious assault and battery and likely attempted murder. To attack somebody from behind as he did is actually pretty cowardly. Now as I said earlier. To each their own until you stick it in my face. Last post on the subject.

What ever floats your boat. Just beware of the Torpedos that you don't see coming. :D

My worst one was the NET in RB3D. normal, but always at the wrong time........ Don't do too much of the online flying these days like I use to, just lost most of my interest there. Would love to get back the commaraderie of the US95th as it was.

That's the part I don't care about hockey. Violence serves no purpose except to get people hurt. The drunk also said he didn't mean to run over the people, they just got in the way. I don't watch Hockey due to this violence as it serves nothing but to give our kids the wrong ideas. I agree that all sports are becoming way too violent and needs to be controlled much more proactively.

Installed this morning on an XP Pro SP1 w/ 1.01F patch without a problem. Just tried instant action mission and it worked pretty good. This is with a full install. Now to uninstall it, FB Aces is keeping me pretty busy right now. :D Only thing may be to check if your hard drives are formatted in NTFS, mine are fortmatted to Fat32 (Just like ME) :D

In other sports though, when you throw that punch, you are immeadiately ejected from the game. There is no "Time out" for poor sportsmanship. Besides in Football, there is not that much in this kind of violence because of the fines and ejections. I agree with Seawolf on this one, it's what I call attempted murder.
