Hi Taco rowler is right: Read the readme file for 1.02 and you will see that there is bith a lot of fixes as well as many additions. Not all has been as fortunate as you (or i) and been able to enjoy the game in its current state. Apart from that i think that flightsimmers are a picky bunch :D. No offence intended. They demand the most of the product and flightsims by their very nature allways borders on the edge of the (un)doable. This can be tiresome and sometimes counterproductive but it also pushes the envelope and makes for some truly great games that last much longer than your average FPS. If it gets too much: Ignore it. IMO the first thing in a readme file for a flightsim should be some fundamentals on when and how to ignore a thread on a public forum B)

no: the runway-numbers displays correctly but the actual tarmac textures are replaced for all airfields ... and if you are using custom landscape mods, like winter textures, the airfield mod requires some manual CCD browsing in LoMan

It looked like a good poll. Easy tosee how the questions related to gameplay. On the realism questions i agree with you - let it take its time and use time compression if you are in a hurry. I opted only to let it drop out of TC automatically only if you are fired upon... i dont like the giveaway if it slows to normal speed without any contacts visible. some of the questions where a bit harder: I have no idea how the crew management works or how much fun it might be. Do i prefer it over gadget-management? - i dont know

you can only replace all airfields.. no way to skin individual airfields yet This might actually be one of the few mods that i might keep myself... apart from my party dress for the Hog of course

done... hmmm . i never noticed before that you can chane between day and night and dived and surfaced on the main site - nice EDIT: I just found out you can turn the sound off as well .. i love it now. I hate sound on websites - it allways scares the hell out me when it comes the usual 5 seconds after the rest of the page has fisnished loading

Beautiful! Cant say that about my own two cats. They are cute though. This is the oldest and allthough she's quite shy, her favourite spot is on top of my monitors. She is heat seeking missile sorry bout the quality ... i just have a crappy webcam

Whati have to say and is meant in a general way and isn't pointed at anything you say in particular Bard It is fine to have strong oppinions on a subject. Its a question of how you voice them and wether you participate in a constructive debate where you listen to the counterparts arguments or you just blow your own horn louder and louder. Please feel free to go on discussing all things Lomac but show respect - also for people that you dissagree with. Please continue this discussion in the relevant threads or start new topics. I will close this thread as Ramsteins person or our moderation of these forums here should in no way be the focus of these discussions. please carry on and get back on track all :)

RAmstein.. are you even reading what ppl here post? Most ppl here appreciate the input from the developers and testers. Don try to speak for all customers. You dont'call the shots here about whether there is or isnt room for debate. WE the moderators, and ultimately MJ does. As i and many others see it the devs and testers are trying to do their part therefore the "be part of the problem or part of the solution" applies very well here. Try reading the posts from the testers and then your own... who is whining? I fail to see any evidence of a conspiracy so unless you you can back it up i suggest you dont go any further down this road. This is slander ... as for the part about you not wanting to resort to clichés i can only ask you to read your own posts once again.

@Snacky.. i know and i understand the reasons. The thread was open when i posted this and i just found it to be a slight curiosum. @336TFS... I think Mr Snacky is reffering to some individuals on the UBI boards who did make things difficult for all who where genuinly interested in the updates....of course no reason not to be polite

I agree with you Ramstein so far as i would much prefer a a decently working game than a broken one. (i am able to play Lomac without any major hangups though) Other than that i think that both a general and specific discussion about how games are produced, tested and so forth are rather interesting. I understand however how posts on the hardships of the tester could be seen as rather provocative to someone frustrated with a game that wont work as expected. Nevertheless i appreciate that the testers, who out of love of the game and genre, voluntarily donate their time to making these programs better for all, get a bit touchy at times in what must be considered a rather heated debate - especially in the UBI jungle. keep it light guys
