Some yes.... ATM it looks good. He is having some problems reinserting the TGA files. AFAIK i haven't heard of anyone having any succes in this... The are easy to extract but cause graphic corruption when reinserted. If you can help or just want to follow the latest news on this take a look here -
Mitch must be a busy man... This time he has done a skin for the Mirage. Get it here.

Tooth And Nail
GhostDog replied to GhostDog's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series Mission/Campaign Building
There was a little mistake in the the last uploaded version. The first 4 or 5 missions where listed as succesfully completed and you had to reset it to start from the beginning. I have reset the campaign adn uploaded it again. It has the same version number but will now start from the beginning without having to be reset Cheers, GhostDOg -
What The???!!!
GhostDog replied to unamed123's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series Modding/Skinning Chat
Welcome to Biohaz Ghecko! You can use the custom skins in any mission or campaign. Each mission has a certain "default" skin assigned to it by the one who created the mission. This will allmost never be one of the desert skins as the theatre of operations is not a desert theatre. So...I assume you can use Loman to add the skins. Otherwise just try to fool around with it: Its pretty self-explanatory. Next step is changin the skin for the particular mission that you want to fly. It is the same procedure no matter if it is a single mission or a campaign. 1): Open the mission or campaign 2):Click the airplane symbol or any of the waypoints for your plane. This opens a menu on the right side of the screen. 3): On the top right click "payload". You are now taken to the payload screen 4): On the bottom left select the skin you want. Click the disc icon on the top left (or select save from the menu) if you want to save the changes you hav made. Then click "FLY" To change the HUD color click alt-h (repeatedly) when you are in the cockpit. You can't select a new default color so you will have to change it manually each time you start a mission -
Wingman Comands
GhostDog replied to sambo's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
Maybe you are doing something wrong. I have never had any trouble getting them to engage anything. Rather i have had a hard time keeping them out of trouble as they seem rather suicidal to me. What mission? What type of plane? What opposition? Maybe someone will be able to help you out -
IMO the main focus of this site is simulation games and the likes. Everything else is OT - including politics. A "gloves off" political forum might encourage language and behaviour that would only force us to close topics faster that otherwise neccesary (again only IMHO). As far as the main subject in this thread goes i'll just shut my big european mouth and let you guys fight it out in a civil manner ;)

Problems With Loman 2.0 Final
GhostDog replied to pletje's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
the fastest way would be to edit the quick-fly mission. From the main menu select "open". Open the "Quick Start" folder and double click on the A10A mission. Yuo are now taken to the map screen. Zoom out if neccesary. Click the airplane symbol or any of the wayponts for the plane. On the top right click "payload". YOu are now taken to the payload screen. On the bottom left select the skin you want. Click the disc icon on the top left ( or select save from the menu) to save it. This should do the trick -
Problems With Loman 2.0 Final
GhostDog replied to pletje's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
If you install a skin that swaps iteself for the skin used in the quick-fly mission - then yes. The A-10 quick-fly mission uses the skin called "52th fighter wing"... ...btw: shouldn't it be "52nd..." -
Problems With Loman 2.0 Final
GhostDog replied to pletje's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
Hey Skypat. I know it is not an error as such, but the message Loman displays when you install a high-res skin is perhaps a bit misleading. Maybe it would cause less confusion if you in the next version change the "error" message to a "Note" or something... Just a suggestion ;) Cheers, GD -
Mitch Jannsen has made a skin for the ATZ-60. It replaces the ATMZ-5. Remeber that if you use this type of MODS in a mission design, a MP mission or campaign, that it will display the original vehicle for the end-user if they haven't installed the same mod Get it here.

Worn Out A10 Skin
GhostDog replied to GhostDog's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series Modding/Skinning Chat
I haven't tried it yet. When i use high-res skins i notice a slight stutter when first switching to external views. After that its usually the same as the default ones. If you want to you can ask Mr. Wolf a question in the thread about this skin on the Ubi boards here -
Problems With Loman 2.0 Final
GhostDog replied to pletje's topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
As i understand it Loman can only install skins that has a higher resolution than the default into the bazaar/temptexture folder. Whereas skins in the default size can be installed to the actual location of the originals. This is not a problem. If you don't see the skin it is probably because you don't select the skin that has been changed: I allways fly with the JAWS skin for the A10. I have installed the high-res version but i only see it in the game if i choose the JAWS() skin. All the other A10 skins are still the default ones. In this case its pretty obvious that the JAWS skin should replace the JAWS skin. In other cases you might have to scroll through the skins till you find the right one
