I lost out on my bid on the aircraftcarrier a couple of weeks ago so i really want these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...bayphotohosting B)
  2. thanks for the info Growler67
  3. Carl/Stormin has just provided us with a teaser of something that might make a return in v1.02: The mini-hud It will be optional and is selected in the options menu under "difficulties" See Carls post here ...and Carl has also confirmed that they have worked on fixing the WP smoke in multiplayer and that it seems to be working now (thanks Mudd)... Thats one of the things i have been looking most forward to
  4. Recording Avi's...

I kind of gave up on the whole thing after spending so much time on it for nothing. I still have some tracks that i would like to render so i might give it another try. the next time i'm not using my machine for anything else... whenever that might be

  6. Just found this Its Flanker562's skinning tutorial.... I haven't studied it in detail but it looks quite good to me
  7. Ahh... i just didn't get that. I'm stil not sure i understand what you want to know . But if youre asking which programs to use i would suggest yuo try out Adobe PhotoShop or Paint Shop Pro. PhotoShop is maybe a bit harder to use but has many more features. I do know something about editing graphics in PS and can answer questions about that but i haven't (so far) begun skinning myself so i'm not sure i'll be much help to you. But there is many others around here that do skin and i'm sure they can answer any question you have
  8. glad to be of assistance
  9. oops.. but if (when) they are to remove the pilts from the planes i do prefer them to do it before takeoff
  10. I never cared much for price comparrisons between human lives and planes etc.. If you took that a little step further they would enable the planes to jettison the pilot and land on auto if he as much as sneezes ;)
  11. Hey Greb Kind of you to keep us up to date on what youre up to... I think changing the seat height in the F15 (in a way not including cntrl-e) would really please a lot of ppl. Making it possible to adjust the mirrors is icing on the cake... right before fluffy dice and all leather interior ;) I hope there is some around here willing to help you out
  12. If i get the time i'll surely test it.. And youre allways welcome to send a PM here or mail me at ghostdog@biohazcentral.com if you wanne share any of your goodies B)
  13. Hey Greb... I havent got the the time at the moment to really test a lot but i do follow your work with intrerest... Keep it up

  16. Campaign Question

np... hope it works for you
  17. look at the stickys on top of the page Sambo. There is a tutorial on skinning
  18. Hotascovers.com...these Things Are Great!!

neat... but with all the dust youre talking about i would be more concerned about the computer itself. ... how do you handle that?
  19. Campaign Question

you need to create a pilot in the logbook - then you can select that name from the list... or just set him to default (in the logbook) and he will be pilot no matter that the menu says "pilot 1"
  20. I must confess i allways had a soft spot for space "simulations" ever since the first version of X-Wing. I played all of them and allso I-War2 Edge of Chaos which i enjoyed alot even though the wonderfull universe dissapeared . The last thing in that genre that caught my eye was "HomePlanet" (not Homeworld). Its has been developed by russian Revolt Games and has what they call a newtonian physics model which should make the ships handle a bit more realisticaly than in X-Wing and other games where the ships are on rails. The only thing that has held me back is that russian and cyrrilic letters are beyond me and that they for some strange reason havent translated it yet. Browsing through the forums it looks like it was released in Spain and that a Polish version might be in the final stages. If anybody has tried it i'm interested in hearing about it. And i might even try it myself - Cyrrilic letters and all :)... if i can ever get my hands on a copy
  21. Slightly Ot - Space Sims

Welcome to Biohaz and thanks for the help Wesha. I hope i'll be able to take a closer look at it soon PS: personal mail inbound B)
  22. End Of Half Time Show Made It All Worth It.

I was just glad to able to watch a game. Its the only game in the whole season that they broadcast on one of the channels i've got (no cable atm :()
  23. The helicopters needs some more micro-management i would think, but i wouldn't know how to go about it. They seem to have inherited their attack tactics from the fixed-wing aircraft. That is as i understand it not neccesarily so far off, as far as the heavier built russian choppers are concerned, but is definately wrong for the Apaches etc...
