It's a PC I bought a couple of months ago, I think it's an AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT, I'm not a computer guy haha.

Post system specs. It's diffucult to diagnose without all the data
My PC can easily run all of the SF2 games plus the mods I downloaded recently.. dunno why the cruiser files got corrupted even thought it was a fresh install.

Recently started playing SF2:NA, for some reason the California Class Cruisers don't have their grey, majority of the island and radar are black.. any reasons?

Decided to pop my head back out here after watching a few clips of Macross, are there any mods of the VF-1 in Battroid mode? Or just GERWALK mode?

Thanks!

what questions do you have?
When I open the F-5E's LOD, it doesn't show the roundels or paint scheme, just blank. I don't know if it's a problem on my end or that's just how it is. (Tried to tinker with the Paint Scheme, Service, Unit, Individual Markings settings.)

That might necessitate making your own templates, but I say go for it! The best way to learn is trial and error. Make sure to grab mue's LOD Viewer, it really speeds up reviewing your skin on the model instead of constantly launching and shutting the game down:
About the LODViewer, since it's my first time using it.. are there any tutorials I can find for a noobie like me? It's sort of overwhelming. Again, my apologies for asking too many questions.

Thanks so much everyone! If anyone is curious on what skin I'm doing, it is the F-5E that Centurion made a few years ago, didn't find any templates, sadly. But one skin seemed like a good start, (Honduras Air Force Grey). Is this.. kind of a good idea? If I messed up somewhere, please let me know.

Just now, EricJ said:I don't know about Paint.net, but GIMP is totally free, so you have that option, and works with PSD files.
Alright, thanks! :)

18 minutes ago, EricJ said:There are plenty of tutorials online man, Google is your friend. But one question is what can you afford? there's GIMP, which is free, and stuff like Adobe Photoshop and the like. You'll also need the PSD template (if one exists) too to work on your skin. And have a lot of reference and texture files to pull it off.
Honestly, I'm pretty poor at the moment. Is paint.net a good option? I don't really remember, but I saw a guide in here, kinda forgot who did it.

Are there any skin making guides? I'm trying to make a skin based on Shin Kazama's F-5E Tiger, also my apologies if I'm bothering anyone, it's sort of complicated and I need some help.

Sure! I'm interested. You can dm it to me.

Are there any Dhimari F-14A-B or F-15C skins? I'm working on a personal mod set in 1989, and I'm wondering if there's any skins I could use.
-
Ah. Alright.

Strangely when the F-4s fired their guns, the pilots said "Fox 3"..
Other than that, it's amazing!

Very sad day for Phantom fans, but it's nice knowing they went out with a bang.

Understood, I have a few people that can help me out with play testing. Hopefully all the bugs will be sorted by release.

Got it, I'll see if I can work on it soon, busy right now.

Wings Over Ogaden
Hello! Thank you for downloading my mod!
This mod is based of the Ogaden War, an obscure conflict not really known or told about today. So I decided to make a campaign based off of it! Be warned, this mod probably won't be super historically accurate, please bear with me as this is my first ever mod and there will most likely be bugs. Thank you!It is July 13th, 1977, and Somalia has invaded the Ogaden, an area in the Horn of Africa claimed to be held by both Somalia and Ethiopia. Claiming that the Ogaden belonged to "Greater Somalia", combined with both deteriorated relations with the USSR and superpower intervention in Africa, Somali Dictator Siad Barre orders for troops to enter and recapture Somali inhabited territories in the Horn of Africa, with the Ogaden being first. The Ethiopians desperately fight back but being completely caught off guard and with their military being weak thanks to the Derg's overthrowing the Emperor of Ethiopia three years earlier, the Somalis captured up to 90% of the region, and their Air Force prowls the skies above the fight on the ground. Despite the odds, with the United States aircraft and the Soviet Union's support and supplies, it is up to the Ethiopian Air Force's Tigers, Frescos, Canberras, transports, sorties around the clock, and the Ethiopian Ground Forces to recapture the region and push the Somalis out of the region. Scramble immediately, and take back the skies of the Ogaden!

Never mind, I figured it out, turns out I didn't put in the airport's names, (example: Dire Dawa Int'l Airport), so far, missions are going smooth! Just have to get a ground battle sorted. As of right now it's mostly just strike missions. I'll get a demo out soon! :)
-
Well I'm confused, for some reason Ethiopia is red instead of blue, and that I don't have normal looking waypoints. I don't have a takeoff point, or an approach point. Man this is complicated..
-
Got it! Thanks, and no worries, I've been busy myself anyways. Thank you for the links. I'll see if I can a demo out sometime this week, maybe in a few hours or tomorrow.
I love the terrain by the way! I noticed there wasn't really any campaigns about the Ogaden War, so I decided to do it myself! It doesn't need any additions at the moment, but if that changes then yeah, I'll let you know.
