I wish Amanda and Sean many years of wedded bliss. http://www.irishcentral.com/news/True-Iris...--51482817.html

When I'm filling out "official forms" I can't find what describes me on them, so I check "Other". There's no Czech-American in the list.

If I had said I only shop at white owned businesses then people would be lining up to call me racist. The double standard in this country is BS.

Unfortunately my father was the opposite. I had a black friend show up at my house when I was in high school. Dad chased him off by waving his .357. I'm ashamed that he's my father, he's a waste of skin. The high school I went to was mostly white and the aforementioned kid was the only black guy in our school. We had FFA (Future Farmers of America) classes so we had plenty of rednecks. Not one of my friends cared about skin color. Years later when I was playing music semi-professionally I met a friend who was one of the best drummers I've ever seen. His name was Dave. He was also black. But no one ever described Dave by his skin color. He was Drummer Dave. Looking back on it, I'm surprised at how enlightened the group I was hanging out with was. I think that mostly we just didn't care about race. Dave's blackness was irrelevant when it was his drumming that made him "Dave". We had a guy who was a great singer who had a fairly bulbous nose. He ended up being Norm the Nose. Heck, I got this nickname because I was infamous for BA'ing people (Bare @ss). We were all judged (and nicknamed) based on who and what we are.

I can't wait to see this as well. As for the CH comment, we'll see how your creation is working for you 5 years after you've built it. Cuz that's where I am now with 5 CH controllers that I use at least 4x a week.

I'm pissed off at how PC this country has gotten. I've had black friends all my life and no one looks sideways at them if they call someone a white-boy (which is not meant as an insult). But if a white person leads with "he was black" then he's immediately called into question that he might be racist. It goes the same for people that are of hispanic descent. I live in a state where illegal immigration is rampant. I also speak enough spanish to get by with and the nicknames I hear coming from some of the illegals when referring to blacks and whites are just plain insulting. But since they're not caucasian it's ignored. I'll refrain from posting them here though......... The fact is that people of all shapes and colors are racist. And then there are people of all shapes and colors who aren't. Why in the heck we don't judge each person on their own merits is beyond me. We have a black president for god's sake! Hasn't equality truly happened here yet? I'm fed up with idiots like the guy above using the race card for his benefit. What that does is take away from a real incident involving race. It minimizes real acts of racism. I prefer to judge that guy on his character (or lack thereof). His skin color is irrelevant.

I hope things look up for you soon.

It can be used for most games. There are some that it doesn't work with unless you're using it in client/server mode. Has something do to with allowing the game to give up "focus".

It's actually graphics on the screen. For instance, you want to turn on your wingtip (anticollision) lights on your F-15. You go to the left panel and touch the switch for the anti-collision lights. The switch will move to the on position and send that command to the game. You want your gear up? Touch the gear lever at the bottom of the center panel and the switch moves to the up position and the gear light indicators go dark. http://www.touch-buddy.com/forums/ I saw a video several years ago that Zorlac, the creator of TouchBuddy put up on the Eagle Dynamics (Lock On) forums. He had some rudimentary graphics so I offered to do some to replace what he had. I don't think he originally planned to release the TouchBuddy software but after putting some art together he finally released it. Sometime later Wild Bill Kelso made a companion program that was basically a GUI for putting your own profiles together. It's a free program and all of the profiles for the different games are free as well. People are welcome to use the graphics that others put together as long as they give credit to the original artist(s). The best thing about the program is that you can still use it even if you don't have a touchscreen. You can use your mouse and cursor instead, kind of like a poor man's clickable cockpit. If you look at my pictures above, you'll see what look like "tabs" at the bottom of each one, labeled LFT/CTR/RT/etc. You touch (or mouseclick) on each of those to switch to a different "page" in the profile. There are profiles for driving games, F4AF, LOMAC/Flaming Cliffs, IL2, Orbiter and many others. Stop by and sign up an account. If you have two monitors then you'll love TouchBuddy. And it's free!

The panels are 17" monitors with touchscreen overlays. I did the cockpit art myself (in photoshop) and all pertinent buttons and switches are animated and send commands to the game. Additionally, the RWR works (via LUA) as well as a payload screen and damage control panel. I can also pull up maps for the theaters I fly in as well as all the airbase diagrams for all the bases in theatre. Here's a couple shots of my artwork, I did them from scratch from line drawings and blueprints:

As long as you aren't buying from Taiwan, China or one of the "pirate zones" you should be ok. -
Spot on! News programs use advertising dollars to fund them and make profits. No one wants to watch a half hour of happy happy joy joy programming. Adultery, murder, robbery, etc are what people want to see. The news doesn't tell the truth, it spins the facts in the direction the programmers want in order to garner more viewers to see commercials and advertising. The press would rather lie when the truth is much easier to state.

You missed the fact that a whole country that has never been allowed to vote and to be a part in the future of their country are now able to do so. I suggest you open your eyes a bit and look at the whole picture. There will always be people who profit from war. There will always be people who are punished from war. Then there are the vast majority in Iraq that are able to have the freedoms we take for granted. A whole population thumbed their noses at the terrorists who said they'd bomb voting centers if people turned out to vote. They did so anyway, risking their lives for something that most people in this country can't be bothered to do. And they proudly held their purple inked thumbs up for news cameras after they voted. Our brave soldiers aren't risking their lives for nothing..............................I'm offended by your comment but ain't no biggie. I have big shoulders, I'm American.

Thank god I'm not the only one pissed off about that.
