Unable to use air-to-air guns in combat

Installed Mig-29A model and Mirage F-1C and Mirage F-1C-200 aircraft into the game (SF:P1) but for whatever reason my onboard guns are not firing when I run out of missiles or am in for the kill Embarassing but I can't figure out what the problem is - no other conflicts with these aircraft but only the guns don't work. Anyone else have similar issues ? I have the current weapons pack installed - I am confused Thanks, Stephen
