  1. The F-100C, which made its first flight in 1954, featured advances as in-flight refueling system, provisions for extra fuel drop tanks and bombs under the wings and and improved electronic bombing system, however - regarding loadout- F-100C-26-NA kites in 1970 "High Wire Supplementals programme" got installation of AIM-9B provisions, not earlyer. Provision for the installation of a quartet of GAR-8 (later designated AIM-9B) Sidewinder air-to-air infrared homing missiles was introduced on the production line with the 184th F-100D. Air-to-air missile armament had initially been tested on six modified F-100Cs. By mid-1966, 210 F-100Cs were in service with the ANG. However, on January 25, 1968, in response to the *Pueblo* incident, President Johnson mobilized a major portion of the Selected Reserve Force, which included eight ANG squadrons equipped with F-100Cs. The last of these F-100Cs were phased out in March of 1970, and by late 1970 ANG F-100C strength was back up to 210 aircraft. The only F-100Cs to fly in combat in Vietnam flew with ANG units which had been called up for that conflict. A total of four ANG squadrons (from Colorado, New York, Iowa, and New Mexico) flew F-100Cs in Vietnam. Most of the kites are already retired in March 1973. Nice gap filler - regarding the mod, however - The F-100C had the same six underwing hard points as the F-100D, but the detachable underwing pylons used forced ejection rather than gravity release for dropping their stores. The vertical fin and rudder were smaller in area then "D", and the fin trailing edge on F-100D featured a larger and wider square protrusion which carried an AN/APR-26(v) rearward radar warning antenna in addition to the usual fuel jettison pipe - that's a bit harder to modify on default lods. Also, wings had different shape on "C". On Taiwan overhauled F-100A-20-NA that was easy to simmulate 'case those "later" kites had "D" tails and wings. Cheers and keep up with "gap fillers" BTW I will use this kite as F-100C-26-NA - most close to early "D" and with ServiceStartYear=1970 ServiceEndYear=1974 for present mod loadout
  2. We wanna VF-84 skin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111111111111111

  4. BIAHH : what do u think?

Very eye candy, game running very good on my rig > AMD BE2350(4000+ dual core), 2Gb Ram, Ati 3650 -512. I like the game
  5. EF-18F (F/A-18G) Growler? Reason for edit >I don't wanna to test it ......... too much work already
  6. Well, I waited for this one. Until I solve some prop FM issues, I relaxed a bit makein RF-104G, with new recce Orpheus, EL-70 jammer and chaff/flares. Italians used it until 1993 - which is excellent for "G" kite.
  7. Streakeagle, we need subvariants now F-101B (yum missiles ), RF-101C and of course F-102, then we are "Century" complete. I'm not a fan of "what if's" (F-103, F-107, F-108, and F-109 )- but that's just my preference. BTW - I agree with your opinion about F-101A/C flying capabilities - but hey - that's why they are replaced with F-101B and soon afterwards with more capable planes. But, they were quite good for time line, and surely they are excellent stuff ingame.
  8. Finaly one more Century Series Fighter. Thank you all for great job. Cheers
  9. WOW INDEED - Looking forward to add AIM-7 instead AIM-9's underwing on F-4B  - just like this Spectre here >
  10. Happy Birthday Dels and Pappy

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
  11. I like the small wings more  - did someone say : F-104
  12. File Name: Sabre small pack.rar File Submitter: starfighter2 File Submitted: 1 Feb 2008 File Updated: 8 Oct 2008 File Category: F-86 Until Pasko release something new - here you are 2 mods "gap fillers" - there are quite some time on my HDD(amoungst many other - "sub mods" First Aircraft This aircraft depicts an F-86F-1 Sabre of the ROCAF.All planes are later upgraded to F-86F-40 standard with 6-3 (F-40)wings and AIM-9 rails, many air to air victories are made by ROCAF pilots in 1958 over PLAAF. The Republic of China Air Force of Taiwan was one of the first recipients of surplus USAF Sabres. From December 1954 to June 1956, the ROC Air Force received 160 ex-USAF F-86F-1-NA through F-86F-30-NA fighters. By June 1958, the Nationalist Chinese had built up an impressive fighter force, with 320 F-86Fs and seven RF-86Fs having been delivered. Sabres and MiGs were shortly to battle each other in the skies of Asia once again in the Second Taiwan Strait Crisis. In August 1958, the Chinese Communists of the People's Republic of China attempted to force the Nationalists off of the islands of Quemoy and Matsu by shelling and blockade. Nationalist F-86Fs flying CAP over the islands found themselves confronted by Communist MiG-15s and MiG-17s, and there were numerous dogfights. During these battles, the Nationalist Sabres introduced a new element into aerial warfare — under a secret effort designated Operation Black Magic, the US Navy had provided the ROC with the AIM-9 Sidewinder, its first infrared-homing air-to-air missile, which was just entering service with the United States. A small team from VMF-323, a Marine FJ-4 Fury squadron with later assistance from China Lake and North American initially modified 20 of the F-86 Sabres to carry a pair of Sidewinders on underwing launch rails and instructed the ROC pilots in their use flying profiles with USAF F-100s simulating the MiG-17. The MiGs enjoyed an altitude advantage over the Sabres as they had in Korea and Communist Chinese MiGs routinely cruised over the Nationalist Sabres, only engaging when they had a favorable position. The Sidewinder took away that advantage and proved to be devastatingly effective against the MiGs. The combat introduction of the Sidewinder took place in a battle on 24 September 1958 when ROC Sabres succeeded in destroying ten MiGs and scoring two probables without loss to themselves. In one month of air battles over Quemoy and Matsu, Nationalist pilots tallied a score of no less than 29 MiGs destroyed and eight probables, against a loss of two F-84Gs and no Sabres. P.S. General Electric J47-GE-27/B (standard 27.10kN) installed in Taiwan kites is even stronger a bit (for short periods of time- 5mins or so- at 5468Rpm it can provide over 30KN of thrust on high attitude - I modelled that in Sabre FM) Installation: Simply unzip the .rar file to into your Strike Fighters/Objects/Aircraft folder. Second Aircraft: This aircraft depicts an F-86F-30-NA Attack Sabre of the USAF.Korean veteran and proof that Sabre can perform quite well as fighter/bomber. Installation: Simply unzip the .rar file to into your Strike Fighters/Objects/Aircraft folder. Many thanks to Zur, USAFMTL, Crab and Heck Mitchell,Pappy and special thanx (for friendship) goes to MoonJumper and Pasko If I missed anyone...apologies in advance. Starfighter2 Ver. 1.1 Ravenclaw_007 made excellent CL-13B Sabre, I used silver skin with Kukulo's help to adopt it for Taiwanese F-86F-1, thx goes to both of you guys - I scaled it down to 1024 as good compromise Ver. 1.12 F-86F-1 ROLL control improved, some small skin improvements - mod is SFP1 compatible (2006 patch) Click here to download this file
  13. And yes....this mod is still SFP1 2006 patch related...so far  BTW try this for all silver planes with high detailed stuff on it e.g.> [TextureSet] Name=3rd Tac Fighter Squadron Nation=Taiwan Squadron=3TFS Specular=1.000000 Glossiness=0.750000 Reflection=0.000000 BTW2 F-86F-1 (together with F-100A Taiwan) is my weapon of choice against pesky MiG-15/17
  14. He he - nice overhaulin  I personaly prefer ATI, but NVidia is(and was) always in my son's (gameing) machine. Huh.....GTX280.... sounds great
  15. I think that we should create contest "Model Of The Year" - and this one (even not 100% finished yet) will be in first five on list  Thx
  16. ATI (AMD) 3450 works fine, drivers - latest ver 8.9

  18. SFP1: System Requirements A super computer that can calculate the value of pi to 1337 gazillion places. 999.99 THz or faster Processor (Quad-Centi core recommended for Low Settings Gameplay) 1.WARNING# Overclocking CPU may cause a temporal gravitational time rift. An additional computer with same specs or better. 512 TB RAM with 8420THz or higher Memory Clock ATM machine 256 TB Video Card with DirectX 69.0c (Nvidia XeForce 99990 GX1000 Ultra; due to poor scaling, a Zeforce 99995 GTX may be required on some PCs) 8 nuclear reactors producing 100 Trillion Megatons of Power per day per reactor. Two sheets of hyperconductive thinking Titanium. A floppy disk 14 Petabytes of Free Hard Drive space Windows Vizier or Windows OMFGWTFBBQ 50 Gazzilion Gallons of Cola and 20 Tons of KFC A five hundred and sixty one thousand inch 1T50V£Rx9000 monitor (when used in conjunction with the Nvidia XeForce 99990 GX1000 Ultra) running at 16777216x9412364 resolution (200THz Refresh Rate) Gaseous-liquid phased nitrogen-ammonium coolant (below 0 Kelvin recommended) No life to speak of whatsoever or for any life you had to have been extracted and fused into the computer workings somehow Thermodynamic CPU & GPU cooler or 46,000 gallons of industrial strength liquid nitrogen. Space, matter and time calculator God emulator Special Relativity PhysX engine Gamma-ray Player Stephen Hawkings Wheelchair SFP1 may still freeze on high settings with the above -minimal- system, so when you wait for SFP1 to respond, it is recommended to have a ten time larger particle accelerator then the LHC so you can create a black hole just out of boredom. All hospital diagnostic machines. They dont really have a point but they look nice by the 50 million yottatonne computer you'll have he he Edit > BTW > (Only 3 known computers will run SFP1 properly(maybe 4) : Skynet, Hal, and the Matrix) Chuck Norris, on the other hand, need no computer to run it. He can run it simply by thinking it. BTW2 > Although not a regular occurence, it is recommended to avoid SFP1 on computers worth less than $14 billion. And the last thing to be noted, Commodore 64 can run the game with no problem
  19. Thank you very much for this one !!! Outstanding !!!
  20. Looks like Pasko's kite - right Pappy? I send you long time ago some files.... If so, send skin over and I will "force up" Pasko to finish kite  In that case, it will be flyable
  21. CONGRATULATIONS Next step is P.h.d. Don't let me alone in SF community with that degree
