Hi, I am flabbergasted that Strike Fighters 2 is the only such "simcade", nowadays it's either arcade games like Ace Combat or hardcore simulation like DCS. I love Ace Combat but it doesn't scratch the same itch as SF2, and I like DCS but it's unplayable nowadays because of how large the installation size is. So I play SF2. Plus I'm a single-player-only type of player so SF2's large amount of content is perfect. SF2 plays smooth and has the right balance between not-too-complex and not-too-arcade. Sure it's a little old graphically but it's very playable. To me, it feels like the jet-aircraft version of IL-2 1946.
