As the Do17K being close resemblance of the Do17E and M type, it mainly differ in several major features and was more capable combat platform. Do17Ka-1 and Ka-2 was derivates of Do17E/F and featured fabric covered wing lower surface and short distance among the engines. Do17Kb from Dornier and Yugoslav had all metal wing covering and some longer engine mountings.
