then use the Serial to Activate.
You dont need their junk, it's the same with steam, all you need is the Serial Key to Activate it.
It will prolly be Easier to Download DCS World, KA-50 Ver2 Module and A-10C Module.
Verified...bought the serials from the original link, then downloaded BS2, A-10C and DCS World directly from Eagle Dynamics. Installed and registered without a hitch.

Maybe better at a time, but the F-16 had a clearer and easier growth path making it a better choice in the long run.Also, the F-20 was near the end of it's potential growth cycle (being an F-5 derivative)...having split off earilier into what became the F-18 series. But, the F-16 was early in it's growth potential, having just been bought in significant numbers not long before.
But probably the biggest thing against the F-20 was the F-16 already had a logistics tail established, which is a significant part of a weapon's system 'life cycle cost'. So, ironically, the F-20 lost because of a concept first championed by Northrop itself.

I think the military channel aired a F-5A/T-38 Documentary last week, the last segment was saying the F-5 design went on to become the F-18 (through multiple changes).So technically the T-38 is the F/A-18E's Grandfather.
Yea, yea, that's just quibbling...:).
I had known the F-18 was derived from the F-5, but what I didn't know until a few days ago was that when the N156F and N156T were being developed, that the N156T actually flew first because the USAF wanted the trainer version but didn't need the fighter version for it's own use and so it was fast tracked.
Which means that the very first flight of the Northrop twin jet series was a T-38...so I just HAD to make something...
And you notice the T-38 is in black...:).

Also, there are flags that can be set in MAX that will tell a mesh to not cast or catc h a shadow....earlier models tend to have these flags at random verses later versions.

I have never seen any object not cast a shadow at all if the proper entries are in the ini. At least SOME parts of the model will cast a shadow...something else is going on there.

It's more complicated than that. You can have open meshes and cast a shadow just fine...what matters is how "convex" that mesh is.
Also, the 'spikes' are typically caused when an object has a vertex (or several) that cause meshes to do things they can't do in reality. One of the most common is 2 meshes joined by only one vertex.

I'm assuming the translation filter is having issues and that you wanting aircraft for a flight sim is not an actual emergency.
Creating content, especially 3d objects, takes time, energy and money for the software licence. It is okay to ask for something once or twice....but any more than that starts becoming irritating.
If someone wants to create the content, they will. But no amount of continued cajoling will make it happen any faster, and can in fact have the opposite effect.
My suggestion is to wait and be patient...or, learn the skills yourself to contribute to the community.

Go into your 'Controls' folder and move (or delete) the files you find there. Then start the game and go into the Controls option. You should find everything has been reset to default. Build a new keymap with your preferences and save and it should work properly. You should only have to do this once.

There are parameters listed in the ini's which can be used to avoid this problem.
One, you can limit the size of the parking slot. This in combination with using the proper size parameters in the aircraft data.ini will result in the aircraft not appearing where it shouldn't.
Two, limit the number of parking slots.
Three, adjust the visibility of the lower detailed LODs so they show up closer.
Four, adjust your shadow settings (this plus the view distance are usually the biggest frame rate killers).

In campaign they will only pop up if designated in the campaign.
In single mission, they will pop up as long as the mission type, service, theatre, and years of availability all match up to allow them to.

Well, download it and look in the Flaps to see if it is a hardcoded animation.
If so, modify the data.ini with an entry similar to other aircraft that have things like open canopies on the ground.

And, no, there is no way to have a MIRV SAM in the TW series...at least, not in the conventional sense. However, a StarStreak could be possible...it would take some investigation.
