About tagTaken2

  1. Everything on hard except targeting (I find it impossible to see planes, let alone ground targets until I'm right on top of them), enemy skill/density normal.
  2. Would be great if this was ready by Sat afternoon, thanks.
  3. I only wondered about this today. Really should be implemented, especially for WOV.
  4. Great, thanks! I'd tried this earlier, was looking through cockpit files, and tried editing these values but hadn't been able to get it to work. But after reading your comment and finding it was the right values I had another try. MaxYaw= (controls view from straight ahead to the right, higher equals further) Have this set at 252. MinYaw= (controls view from straight ahead to the left, higher [in negative value] equals further) Have this set at -252 The error I'd made initially was not to copy the *.cockpit.ini value into the actual aircraft file- had left it where the extractor put it (because I'm clueless). Cockpit hasn't been modeled for these angles, but I can finally see who's shooting at me.
  5. I had trouble with my MSFFB2... I couldn't adjust the strength of effects/tension even with the software, it just didn't register ingame. And everytime I fired a missile, it bucked like a horse, badly enough to throw off a lock. Fortunately, I had a MSFFB1 to drag out and plug in- works fine, nice effects, forces you to really haul on the stick to pull out of a dive.
  6. Thank you, these are very helpful replies, and I will also try the comms mod on the weekend. I use TIR, and I was hoping to be able to look around further; but I will adjust in time.
  7. Hiyo. I've tried searching, but can't seem to find the answer to these issues: Does anyone know which sound files are the SAM LAUNCH! ones so I can delete them? I'm so sick of hearing this... Is there a cockpit mod available to extend the view over your shoulders? It feels like I'm blind even with the mirrors on Thanks for any help!
  8. A question about carrier operations in JT

I think the accents. As long as it's not done cheesily. The problem with Il-2 is that the lines of text going up and down were an immersion killer, and made me less likely to play the Russian side (German I understand, and could switch off the text).
