    OK, this it a quick hotfix correcting the Min-Max extents and collision point in nose (slightly different to Panama Red numbers). Also I have added some more G tolerance, as I suspect that was the problem in losing the propeller in sudden dives (nevertheless, I think you have to change something in your joystick settings, mine doesn't reproduce your issues even recovering suddenly from a 260 Km/h dive). Try and tell me. If it's good enough, I'll ask Stephen to update the package. Albatros Hotfix.zip

    Maybe Stephen's model has shorter undercarriage than old Bortdafarm plane. I had never problems in take off. Try this: Go to the Data.ini and search for the Engine section. Go to the PropDiameter=2.74 line and lower the number to your taste. Someone more having problems?

    Are you making also machine-gun nests? I'm asking it because I'm adding a ton of Geo's field guns and machine-gun nest to all terrains in Armchair Aces. I'm going to change all the old Geo's field guns for yours. If you are making new machine gun nests (or heavy guns, for example) I can stop the work before reworking the entire thing.

This is the first chapter in a series covering the (mostly) complete air war in Western Front in WWI. Next chapters coming in the standard two weeks! The entire war is divided in mini-campaigns of a month-10 missions. I'm using the two stock maps plus the Vogesen map. This first chapter starts in August 1915, so until end of 1915 you'll have 50 missions per pilot! (and be in mind this is the shortest chapter) The beauty of this approach is that you can follow your fav unit throught all maps, or you can simulate unit transfers for your pilot. You can start as a two seater pilot (as most Germans did), and then be "transferred" to a fighter unit. You can start as a RNAS pilot, and be in the RAF at the proper time, you can start in Escadrille 124 (the La Fayette escadrille) in French Army and end the war ir a USAS unit......A lot of possibilities. This mod is intended for FE2, because in 1917 and 1918 you'll need the different Albatros, Strutters, SPADS et al with different engines that FE2 has. FE1 pilots will need to edit the campaigns to fly them, for example changing the name of the planes like AlbatrosD5_180 to AlbatrosD5....Please, don't ask me for a FE1 version. I'm doing 117 campaigns for the entire series and it's a lot of work!!!! Nevertheless, if someone want to make an FE1 version it has my agreement (if it's free for the people, of course).   11. When in recon mission, I simply fly around the target zone in circles "letting my observer to make the pictures" and then run like hell to my lines!

    I'm doing (slowly) a update to Armchair Aces. New planes, more tuned ground war (to stop mini-campaigns to end before time) and field guns and machine-gun nests in terrains.

    They auto-generate when there is a CAS mission (in single mission mode). Or when there are proper equiped ground units in campaigns. Field guns and machine gun nests are other story and they need be added by hand...

  15. Nope, the weather does't change in campaigns. Good for Paschendaele or Desert campaigns, bad for the rest....

    Hello, Andy! I'm also using a lot of your sounds (soundtweak I and II I think, I still didn't try soundtweak III) in my FE2 install (alongside with Nix ones) and the game is much better than before, so a BIG thank you for your work. I didn't know it's OK to you to use your mod in other game than OFF. Plenty of mods there for this game, but plenty of essential planes in http://cplengineeringllc.com/SFP1 as well, so try to have download permission (no problem if you ask politely, have a little patience waiting answer and follow the site rules). When you are OK with all the mods you'll install maybe you can give us your opinion about the game comparing with OFF (no flame wars, please, only curiosity).
