Maybe updarting drivers?? NVIDIA Gforce 210 sounds as a old second hand GPU. I have an NVIDIA GT 230 and isn't that great. In fact I'm thinking about upgade it...

I think the AAA can be too effective, but you must have in mind that in real life you don't face one or two guns over a target. The game terrains are much less populated than real ones. So it's a matter of "two too good AAA" in game against "an entire battery" in real life. About the AI gunner on planes, this is the reason behind Peter01's idea of making _gunner versions of the machine guns. These are porked versions of existing machine guns to have less deadly AI gunners (specially against your fellow AI pilots)

You can try to add some armor (look at the tanks), but be in mind that even the tanks of the day were somewhat vulnerable to point-blank machine-gun fire. I think that is needed a total rebuild of all ground objects, to avoid inconsistances (trucks harder than tanks, etc).

What is your distance o target? I have set the gunner to open fire at 600m. With these old machine guns, long range firing is a waste of ammo. You can also go to the AIData into the VickersFB5_Data.ini and change GunnerFireChance=80 to GunnerFireChance=100. Nevertheless, the plane works fine for me. I have just shot down two German two seaters in it.

....Or just use your imagination. AAA guns can be hard to destroy with machine-guns. On the other hand, the AAA guns crewmen aren't!

Maybe you have a folder inside another folder. There are two planes in the pack, the 250hp one and the 375 one. Look what's in the folder you installed.

Well, I don't remember changing many things in the Phonix. It has been mainly AI changes for it. The AI pilots are better flying this plane now. The Italians must work harder with your squadron mates, so you can fly it better because you aren't dodging bullets all the time!!!

Hello! I have noticed this bug a lot of time ago. I have a modded install since day one (I think I have not played FE2 without mods), so I don't know if it's a game bug or some mod bug.... I'm playing over Cambrai terrain and I have the bug, not only in 1917. It occurs in every campaign! It occurs even in stock campaigns and in the Bloody April Campaign with the Edward's Flanders map. Vogesen and Verdun have less problems but I think They also stop the game sometimes... I have no idea about the cause, but it's not a show-stopper for me. I just don't use the planing map in Cambrai map... Nevertheless, I'm finishing Armchair Aces 1918 and I'm doing an update of older campaigns. There is an important bug in Belgian careers...

Since I have installed NA the AI makes two stupid things: -Sometimes they are cruising at very low speed. -They seems to have lose their terrain avoidance ability. I have noticed this playing Vietnam with the expansion mod, when my wingman was given the order to attack my targer, he runs into a mountain. Later, flying a MIG-17 against some Phantoms, half of them crashed to the ground The question is: the new patch has fixed the AI behavior? -
Don't panic! I have sent Stephen an entire book about the plane. Nevertheless, at the moment, the plane is not useful for the AI, because the angle (it must be 10-15º, depending on authors). I need to tweak it more.

As a matter of fact, and after flying the plane much more, I think the earlier version is too hard not to break the wing in combat, so I'll send Stephen a new FM with wings slightly better....but I have to finish another plane: watching quack's Aviatik skins I have discovered the wing armed version. I think it's a good idea, but it must have the 185 Hp engine and a Swarzlose Machine gun (you still will see a Lewis, sorry... but it will be a Swarzlose). I have to test the plane more and send Stephen the files).

Make a copy of your Triplane folder. Rename it TriplaneTwin. Same in the Decals folder. Go to Peter01's FMs. Search in the FMs for the TriplaneTwin folder, copy all the .ini files inside the TriplaneTwin folder you had created before and that's all....Or, in other words, read the Readme in Peter01's FMs!!!!

First of all, you'll need the original planes (the one gunned Triplane and the Dolphin. I think this one came with 4 guns as defaut. They are here: http://cplengineeringllc.com/SFP1/, but you'll need permission to download files, so read the rules of the site and send the email. After that, go to Combatace, to the downloads section and search for Peter01's FMs, to have alternative versions (2 gunned Dolphin and Triplane, for example)

Hello Greybeard! It's a been long time since I have done any IL-2 campaign. It's too complicated to go through a lot of different files. I like Thirdwire system more, so I'm working and playin these games much more than good ol' IL-2. Of course you have my permission to update any of my IL-2 campaigns (Asia for the Asians, the Winter War subcampaigns and Forgotten Planes if you are playing with mods). I'm pretty sure they have some bugs and are far from perfect and I'm pretty sure they are in good hands now. One of the living legends of RedBaron3D!!!! Thank you for a lot of happyness flying your FMs BTW, the email seems to be correct (not Vanilla Fudge, but Iron Butterfly), maybe your message has been filtered by the damned security system...
