Hello I am just revisiting playing the Operation Desert Storm mod for Wings over Europe. I was wondering if there are any F-16C with the upgraded duel MDF cockpits available anywhere. I have gone through the file section here and have not found anything. Is something like this available? I would love to add this to the aircraft list. Thanks, G

Thanks Barkhorn, I can confirm that it does work when trying again and issue seems to be intermittant.

Oh one more question that I forgot to ask... the propeller is not visible in the forward view, when running that is, but is visible from a 60 degreen angle. I saw this is an issue under the FAQ's but there is not fix at the moment is there? Thanks again! G

Hello I got Runtime Error file not found when trying to load the 12 Vs 12 Fokker Dr.1 vs Sopwith Camels mission from Quick Scenario. I verified that I have installed everying in order up to patch 1.47 for Hat in the Ring. Any suggestions? Thank you, Gian

Hello I got my copy of OFF yesterday, and also decided to buy the Hat in the Ring expansion. I installed both as instruction including patches. So the first time I ran the sim was with the expansion as well. At the risk of repeating myself here, would someone please mind clarifying the following? 1) Is it supposed to say Hat in the Ring anywhere on the main title screen, as I am still seeing Between Heaven and Hell. Did I install in correctly. 2) I have an ATI 5850, and looking at the configuration recommendations is that more for performance or visual quality? Can someone recommend good settings for both, I am still experimenting with the settings, but I would very much like to hear from anyone with ATI cards what the optimum configuration is. I had some stuttering when running the Quick Scenario of 12 vs 12 Fkr Dr.1 against Camels. My PC Specs are: Intel Core Duo 6850 3Ghz Sapphire Radeon 5850 1GB Toxic running Catalyst 10.4 4GB of Ram Windows XP Pro X-FI soundcard 3) Someone here mentioned bloom and hdr.dll which makes the graphics better... Is this a seperate download or is this just enabled through CFS3 Config? 4) In know there is no damage shown when choosing hi-res aircraft. Does this only mean bullet holes or wings and parts blown of? Also why is this? Is this a limit of the engine? Thanks in advance? G

I just thought I'll add my 5 cents here too. I just upgraded from a nVidia 8800 ultra to a Sapphire ATI Radeon 5850 Toxic 1GB. As previous posters mentioned, if you are not going over certain resolutions or running multiple monitors, then going for a 2gb 5850 or 70 is probably throwing away valuable dabloons in performance that you won't see. The 5850 Toxic is factory overclocked so here you might get more bang for your buck, trust me, it is a great card. Good luck with your decision! Regards, G

Hello My Sidewinder Precision Pro 2 is not coming to the end of it's life cycle and I am looking to replace it with something with the same functionality. i.e on board thrust, yaw and perhaps even force feedback. So in other words a all in one type of Joystick, not something as flashy as a Thrustmaster HOTAS system for example As I haven't shopped for joysticks in ages, I would love to get some recommendations from fellow simmers. I am not looking for something super expensive, but it needs to be built to last. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh and if it helps, I live in Dublin, Ireland.... just before someone recommends to go and have a look at Walmart or something similar.... :) Cheers, Gian

Hello I have to hang my head in shame but I took some time out from the Third Wire sim world and yestarday upon revisting WOE again I discovered WOI. I couldn't believe it and I am thirlled to have this setting again. I so longed for a more modern version of the Jane's Israeli Air Force game and now I have it. So a few questions.... is there a F-16C and F-15C available anywhere to add to the game and update the campaigns with them? Also The F-16I and F-15I I saw in the downloads section. Are they the newest versions? Is there a mod to fly the soviet aircraft and have a non-Israeli campaign? Is there a map or mission editor.... Reason I ask is if there is a way to have the bombing of the Osirak Nuclear Reactor as a mission? Your help is much appreciated. Cheers, Gian
