No disrespect to either of you, but isn't the CVL in both packs base on the Zuiho, while the carrier on page 57 of the screenshot thread and the old KAW WIP thread a new USS Bataan? I have tried both packs, and havent found a carrier with that many guns! Cheers Snapper 21

My vote would be the Norwegian Sea. Buccaneers and Norwegian F-16s battling the Russians.

Kickstarter could have been a good idea had multiplayer no been brought up. Maybe an A-6 cockpit with a sort of DIANE system could have been put forward, but a soon as the M word was used that slightly open door was closed. Just out of interest how would multiplayer work and last. Surely everybody needs to have the exact same install, and in a modable sim like SF2, that will be hard to achieve. And would it not become a bit old quickly if those that had modded there missile to 100% of everything kept handing you your ass on a plate? Cheers Snapper 21

Still working on the camo, looking at pics on the internet can't decide if wing colour or fuselage colour green is more realistic. Haven't tried painting insignia on skin yet.

Can I ask what the advantage is, of having the insignias on the texture? Still trying to get rid of the borders on the green, but also have been trying to re-create the blue. Not sure if its correct.

Hi All I want to change the UK map to use for single missions now and maybe a campaign later. The missions I want to fly are intercepting Russian raids on air bases in Scotland that come from off map bases in Norway. I think I have enough ocean up there to play with. So for starters I have changed all target areas on the map to friendly. And will attempt to add the off map russian air fields later. I will also need to change the allowed missions for UK use and the nations file. But my question is, how do I limit the bases I can take off from on the map. I don't want to take off from Brize Norton to intercept a raid off Scotland. Can I set the airfields I dont want to use as Neutral? Or do I need to delete the whole target or just the number of sqaudrons that fly from there? Thanks for your help Snapper 21

Hi All Sorry I feel the need to rant. I bought SF2 NA even though I only have windows xp, luckily I can get all the bits in a merged install and there is Gerwins lovely Iceland map to use if I want. But I just can't bring myself to play it. Its the story line, its just so crap, it puts me off playing the game. In TKs world its possible for the Russians to land on half of Iceland while there is a fully functional USAF base at Keflavick with no landing ships (in game), and with enough stores and equipment to run a couple of airfields and a full army. Both sides fly from pristine airfields, never touched by war, somebody was not doing there job! What were the Yanks doing while the Russians landed? Watching the Superbowl? I love the new ships, naval formations, cruise missiles and the rest. But I can only hope there will be somewhere else to use them soon, because I don't want to fly over Iceland I feel better now. True, the whole island or nothing is probably wrong. But I don't see both sides having the use of prepared airfields. For Russians to have them and have operational squadrons flying from them I think Keflavik would have to be seriously out of action, meaning NATO would have to rely on Harriers and Carrier aircraft
