  1. Found the culprit! Your carrier Task forces need to follow each in oder in campaign??_data.ini. So first naval unit is the Nimitz, the second is now the Constellation, the third is the LHA-1 marines reinforcement, the fourth is the kiev, the fith is the soviet surface group and the last is a "new" reinforcement convoy of the soviets. Some renumbering is to be done to the naval unit references for air and ground units. Likewise i keept the order for the Navy squads, so added the Constellations Air Group right after the Nimitz ones and renumbered the rest. Works like a charm, now Constellations squads take off the right carrier when flown by player. Also did a little ini mod for the RF-8G form the Vietnam Air and Ground expansion pack to create a RF-8G_77 that was already in place in the campaign files. Added a deceptive jammer and counter meassures launcher, and set the roles to: naval_search, recon. Now VFP-63 takes to the skies in every mission and looks for the soviet fleets.   2. Hi there, beefed up NA Campaign in a similar fashion as mentioned there, added a new CV63 carrier group and Airwing (2xF-4J_74 ; 2x A-7E_74 1xA6A, 1xE2C) at the end of the campaign_data.ini. The Carrier group is now naval unit 5, and the new squads are slightly altered copies of the original Nimitz Airgroup pointing to the new naval unit 5. Added the Phantoms, Crusaders and Intruders as flyable in the campaign.ini. However, each time i start a campaign with one of the new squads, i'm being assigned to the Nimitz carrier group, while all the other new squads show up on the CV-63 carrier group. If i select one of the stock flyable squads i'm placed correctly on the Nimitz and all the new squads appear on the CV-63 group. Anybody got an idea where i may have done something wrong? Fixes for Fletcher Class DD: In the Folder Fletcher: rename: xFletcher_Col.LOD to Fletcher_Col.LOD Fixes Fletcher not being hit. Open Fletcher_Data.INI: [MissionData] section WarshipClass=DESTROYER add this line after the GroundObjectRole=WARSHIP line to have it show up as escort to your CV. [Hull] section StructuralFactor=40000.0 change to this to prevent it from being sunk by aircraft guns. 2. Fixes for CL-83 cruisers: Open Cleveland_Data.INI [MissionData] section FormationSizeBase=1 FormationSizeVariation=1 seems to prevent in single mission placement of ships in same location [Hull] section StructuralFactor=1000000.0 change to this to prevent it from being sunk by aircraft guns. 3.   6. Kann man die Waffenpylone permanent sichtbar machen?

    Gabs nicht auch in der Loadout.ini die Variante, dass man dem entsprechenden Pylon zwar eine Anzahl aber keinen Waffentyp zuordnete um die sichtbar zu haben? Wenn das noch funtioniert wären damit auch saubere Konfigurationen bzw. Mischmasch aus beladenen und undbeladenen Pylonen machbar. S!
  7. Same here doesn't work with your adviced cockpit.ini edit. However using the move command from NeverEnoughs cockpit.ini did the trick too. Small benefit of having the A6E flyable, it get's listed in the NA campaigns list of flyable navy aircraft with VA35 Squadron. NEW FEATURE: adaptive campaign plane selection based on flyable ones? However the A6E suffers from the same bug as the A7E. When having selectet "start on ground" in gameplay options, once first mission loading ends you end up right at the carriers bow between CAT1&2. This can be circumvented by selecting "in the air near target" under gameplay options. Once the first mission is flown it can be reset to "start on ground". S!

  9. I can't count the hours of pure delight this masterpiece of work gave me. Nor can I count the hours I would have liked to spend on flying this expansion. Many Thanks for the time you spend in creating and supporting this single greatest addition to the Vietnam era flying. S!

    Steel Beasts 2 Pro Personal Edition, ist jetzt ne richtige Hardcore Simulation und eher auf den interessierten und zahlungswilligen Simulanten zugeschnitten. Die PE ist im Prinzip die abgespeckte Variante einer vollwertigen Gefechtssimulation, komplett mit Auswertung über jeden Schuss und jede Feindsichtung. >> Sim pur, Keine Zwischensequenzen, keine vertonten Einsatzbesprechungen, nix was spielerisch rüberkommt. Der Simulationsteil ist über jede Kritik erhaben, ein ehemaliger Leo2 Richtschütze war richtiggehend beeindruckt wie genau das wirkliche System umgesetzt wurde. Die Missionen könnten und sind teilweise aus den Lehrbüchern diverser Panzertruppenschulen kopiert sein. Als Simulation gibts hier nur einzelne Missionen keine Feldzugfunktion oder Geschichte der gefolgt wird. Es gibt aber diverse Aneinanderreihungen Einzelner Missionen die quasi dann einen Feldzug darstellen. Etwas mehr spielerisch angehaucht war damals T-72 "Balkans on Fire". Da konnte man den T-72 und den Leo 1 in Ex Jugoslavien durch die Gegend scheuchen.
  12. How can i get rid of the mission log entires, like who shoot a shell onto one of my flight planes? Anyone knows which file controls detail of log? Otherwise it's a absolutely amazing mod package! S!

    Hi Gepard, Great work on the Afghan terrain and this small fittig campaign. The adaption of the Su 15 cockpit for the Hind D and P is also a big improvement. S!
  14. Did it work in the stock Terrain before? Normaly my pack wouldn't harm a install since you only add some lines to VietnamSEA_types.ini and replace a target area with a different layout in VietnamSEA_targets.ini . However you could alwyays rename those two modded files changing their extension from ini to bak run the game and see if it still crashes. S!

  17. Sure you removed their definition as [system] on the wing. But that won't remove or make them invisible on the model. Wrench gave you a method of making them invisible by adding them as [components] and have them called out with their node names. S!

  19. Menu resolution is defaulted to the size 1024x768 (same the background images and cause of a streched menu on widescreen TFTs). However the actual ingame resolution will be the one you set under options > graphics. Did you try a mission to see if the resolution is set? S!

    5 Star rating for this very special vehicle. The model shows clearly an andvance in your skills over the very first releases. Very well done. PS: Did you ever consider doing the Taliban-Dshkas MG in a vietnam era variant? My crude private reskin just doesn't look nice.
  24. That's why i asked if one knows the dimensions of the old groundplates. One of these could save me a good deal of rollbahn/parkplatz objects. Have to figure out the size. S!
  25. hey KB DaNang weights right now 491 targets without any scenery objects like charts and stuff added. Will try something out with the old groundplates to spare some targets. S!
