Well from my exp within the combat arms community we all said the same thing about the draft. We prefer to have volunteers around us. Vietnam vets had to deal with new personal that had bad feelings about the war an it showed in theyre performance. On the other hand alot of drafted man did very well an thats been shown in all history. In WW2 it was different cause the world considered Nazi's an Imperlist Japenese evil. Still Im sure you had men who would have prefered to stay home than to be drafted. Im sure folks still minded the draft but they new the stakes of loosing an Im sure disipline was handle much harder than it is now. Now with the glabal situation we have alot to loose with our allies along with 3rd world countries that dont have the resources to protect themselves from these threats. I think a big issue is that some people dont know just how bad these monsters really are an what extremes they will go to for theyre cause. As bad as 911 was it will be small in comparison if these monsters get the right funding an backing an access to WMD's. Everyone knows its just a matter of time before they do but what some people dont want to think about is the devastion these weapons can inflict on us. To prevent this we will have to be forever on our guard an act first than choose to wait an be hit. Pearl Harbor was a small price to pay for an event that was going to happen anyways. It led to millions of deaths an the destruction of major cities thruout the world. Our situation has gravely changed an the stakes are on a scale that cannot be measured. Our military an country has been paying the burden of this war on terror. We tend to spend the most money an most resources protecting ourselves an allies from madmen. I have 2 daughters I would prefer that they could live a life without war but these wars an tryrants are not results of a poor US policy only. They hate us for nothing more than being American an our way of life. These evil assholes are cowards who shield themselves behind other cowards an have common men, women and childeren carry out theyre eveil tasks because theyre either beat down brainwashed or are so use to following that they have lost the ability to think an reason an choose right over wrong. They have access to millions an some cases billions of dollars. Its time for all good people to stop fooling ourselves. We can only push one man so far. We need more troops more resources more money an more incentives for our warriors. These men are fighting an dieing for theyre country but theyre wives an childeren may not feel like that. Im not one to favor a mandatory draft but when I talk to buddies that have just returned I can tell theyre tired. Men are like the equipment they use. Its constantly stressed to maintain your gear so its combat ready. If our troops our pushed beyond theyre mental an physical limits it may be time to think about a draft. We need boots on the ground. It wont be quick but it wont be forever. Our troops need time to come home an live normal for abit before returning to combat duty. Having them come home for 6 months or a year an having to go back is a slap in the face as far as Im concerned. If theres not enough troops to let the combat units rest for a min 1 year then I say we find a way to do it. I made 3 deployments back to back an it wore me out. Iraq is a different monster. These NG units arent use to that an alot of them have no bussiness in Iraq as quickly as they are deployed then thats another issue in itself. I dont know what some people need to see or hear to understand that these monsters are not going to quit. Forever till this day out we are gonna be at war with these monsters till theyre either all dead or so afraid of what will come theyre way if they carry out such acts. We need to bring the war to them. In theyre face night an day. Dont wait around an see what they do. You bring it to them when theyre off balance. Dont let them surprise you surprise them. They want to use violence well theres one thing for sure the US breeds violence we need the right men an women in the right units that only live for the thrill of the chase an kill. Theyre out there an theyre willing to do the work. We also need other troops to fill in the blanks. If anyone thinks that 911 was some kind of fluke then your only kidding yourself. Id like to see you get 10 of your best friends an talk them into doing what those monsters did to us. You wont find a friend evil enough to do it. If you can understand that then you can start to understand the hatred these folks have for our goverment, policies an probably Americans in general. Some might want to say hey theyre only mad at Bush or our polices or presence somewhere but I can assure you this if theyre not dealt with either by force or policy change then they will become stronger an much more dangerous an we can look forwards to decades of war. I would hope that we dont have to change policies because of monsters like Sadam an Binladen. We cant fight major wars all over the globe with limited resources, but we can fight one war smart enough to ensure our warriors they have all the resources an equipment to win. It might take time even years but our troops on the front line need to know that there are others that will fill theyre shoes an that our goverment is not gonna be forced to keep tired troops on the front line. These men need a mental rest an a chance to see hear an touch loved ones. Even more our wounded need to be taken care of physically an mentally. These men are forever changed its the duty of this goverment to take care of them whether its in the field or home. If it takes a draft to do it then Im in agreement with it. Sooner or later we all have to pay our dues. If theres not enough troops for the job then its our President an Goverments duty to get them an ensure the safety of this country. It wont be popular Im sure but if anyone hasnt noticed Im seeing alot of 18 thru 25 year olds coming home with limbs missing an if thats not enough Im seeing folks come from Iraq an turn around an start getting ready to go back. If your 18 thru 30 unmarried, dont you think you could put your personal life on hold for a year or 2. Im too old to go back now but if I was 18 I dont care what school I was accepted to Id be doing my part. And that doesnt mean being in uniform either. In the end you have to look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself "AM I DOING ALL I CAN DO TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF MY COUNTRY AN OUR WAY OF LIFE." After 911 everyone was screaming why wasnt something done to prevent this. Well like it or not the President is doing that right now. We learned a hard lesson lets not forget it. If you had someone killed that day then you probably understand more than someone that didnt. For people that havent been directly effected because of the 911 events an war then you should realize it doesnt mean your future is safe. These are my own feelings on this an I dont need to hear insults from the farside. I respect everyones own opinon on the subject. R/S Creepy847 Semper Fi Fly MARAIR

Well Im laughing now. Afew days ago my oldest Superior Female daughter returned from a sleepover. Within 24 hours she was puking an pooping her pants with no control. I stood back while my wife took care of the messes but gave words of encouragment. Things like. DONT s**t ON MY FLOOR DONT PUKE ON MY FLOOR. I checked on her constantly. 24hours later she was fine an my youngest female superior daughter came down with it. Same thing but instead of throwing up all over she got up from the floor where I took out the fart sac next to my handy dandy computer where I could watch her. All thru the night she woke up said Dad its time an we marched off to the head so she could puke an poop. Not once did she miss the toilet shes only 9 years old but she showed her older sister what disipline was. My wife an I always have a saying about our daughters. My oldest is more like a wife. A know it all where my youngest is like me. More disipline an organized. Keeps things in check has a plan an a backup plan an makes things happen. Now my wife likes to make me look weaker being the male sex. So we have a little war going on when it comes to men vrs women or my youngest against my oldest. I like to say "MY TRAINING YOUR TRAINING. Well yesterday was my day I spent afew hours puking an pooping but I marched off to the head like a good NCO did my thing cleaned my mess an came out strong even tried to get alittle hanky panky with the wife but with all the sounds of me puking in the crapper somehow she lost her motivation. Just arent as tough as they are in Subic. Anyways the entire time I sick shes saying things like Creepy your a weak man. See Im superior to you cause Im not sick. I just kind of shook my head an told her to piss off. Well guess what? The female superior being has passed out twice. Shes been throwing up since we dropped my youngest off at her moms. She said she felt weird so I said heres my chance. I stopped at the ice cream shop an knowing she wouldnt pass up a nice big double scoop of double chocolate she ate it. She was breathing hard before we got halfway home. I said hey babe how you feel an she said my stomach is feeling weird I said ahhh its nothing better finish that ice cream cone before it melts on my seat.. ;-) Anyways its 1135pm EST an shes been puking an pooping for about 4 hours. I keep busting her ass. I actually taped up 12x12 cards saying . Female superior head this way an Weak females throw up here or Weak females lay down here. She hasnt found much of it funny but hell shes been talking s**t for 2 days about me. She passed out twice so far seems she doesnt like throwing up. Makes her weak. I missed her the first time but caught her the second time. Shes sitting in front of the crapper right now looking weak an undisiplined. Ive tried to get her to come back to bed but still no luck. Ill give her another 5min then Ill drag her sorry butt in bed. I know I sound alittle mean but you should have heard the trash she talked last night when I was s**tting my brains out. Enjoying the payback. R/S Creepy847 Semper Fi. PS. Im still trying to figure out this. 60 pullups. 250 pushups or was it situps. 6 mile run. All in less than 15min. Hey maybe its just me.

It was 5:00 in the morning at the U.S. Navy boot camp, well below freezing, and the sailors were asleep in their barracks. The drill Chief walks in and bellows, "This is an inspection! I wanna see you's all formed up outside butt naked NOW!" So, the sailors quickly jumped out the rack, naked and shivering, and ran outside to form up in their three ranks. The Chief walked out and yells, "Close up the ranks, conserve your body heat!" So they close in slightly... The captain comes along with his swagger stick. He goes to the first sailor and whacks him right across the chest with it. "DID THAT HURT?" he yells. "No, Sir!" came the reply. "Why not?" "Because I'm a U.S. Sailor, Sir!" The captain is impressed, and walks on to the next man. He takes the stick and whacks the soldier right across the rear. "Did THAT hurt?" "No, Sir!" "Why not?" "Because I'm a U.S. Sailor, Sir!" Still extremely impressed, the captain walks to the third guy, and sees he has an enormous erection. Naturally, he gave his target a huge WHACK with the swagger stick. "Did THAT hurt?" "No, Sir!" "Why not?" "Because it belongs to the guy behind me, Sir!"

Ahhh Gator I hope you like this one then. A Marine dies in combat and wakes up to find he is in hell. He's really depressed as he stands in the processing line waiting to talk to an admittance counselor. He thinks to himself I know I lead a wild life but, Hell, I'm a Marine. We're expected to live wild lives. I wasn't that bad. I never thought it would come to this. " Looking up he sees that it is his turn to be processed into hell. With fear and heavy heart, he walks up to the counselor. Counselor: What's the problem, you look depressed? Marine: Well, what do you think? I'm in hell. Counselor: Hell's not so bad, We actually have a lot of fun. Do you like to drink? Marine: Of course I do. I'm a Marine. Counselor: Well then, you are going to love Mondays, On Mondays we drink up a storm. You can have whiskey, rum, tequila, beer, whatever you want and as much you want. We party all night long. You'll love Mondays. Do you smoke? Marine: Yes, as a matter of fact I do. Counselor: You are going to love Tuesdays. Tuesday is smoke day. You get to smoke the finest cigars and best cigarettes available anywhere. And you smoke to your heart's desire without worrying about cancer because you are already dead! Is that great or what? You are going to love Tuesdays. Do you like to fight? Marine: Of course I do. I'm a Marine! Counselor: You are going to love Wednesdays. That's Fighting Day. We challenge each other to fights to see who's the toughest in Hell. You don't have to worry about getting hurt or killed, because you're already dead. You are going to love Wednesdays. Do you gamble? Marine: Show me a Marine who doesn't! Counselor: You are going to love Thursdays, Because we gamble all day and night. Black jack, craps, poker, slots, horse races, everything! you are going to love Thursdays. Are you gay? Marine: Of course, not! I'm a Marine! Counselor: Oh (grimaces) , you're going to hate Fridays

First you will probably never get into any branch if they find out you have a history of mental illness. It would require alot of effort on behalf of your recruiter an some recruiters just wont waste all that time on one person if they think its for null. You have to face the fact that it would be very uncomfortable to hand you a weapon or have you handle weapons if they suspect you have a history of mental illness or a habit of cutting yourself. The recruiter is only trying to help you. I doubt very much youll be able to walk into a recruiter office an tell them you have a history of mental illness or you have had a history of slashing yourself. Please dont take that wrong. Its just a fact. The only way around this is to keep your mouth shut. Depression meds will not show up in your system if you have been off them for over 6 months. There will always be a medical history on anyone. Its like you broke your arm. If they find out an they research it then yes theres a good chance that will pop up, but it will take time an resources an with the current situation today the recruiters dont have time to search thru that s**t. Now your mental issues are considered very private. Most Dr's that treat you also have a confidentiality guidelines. That means theyre suppose to keep theyre traps shut. Now if you have had legal issues involving depression such as you have gotten depressed then decided to steal cars or hurt people an its become a matter of the state an you have been found guilty of such crimes it will be very difficult for that to not show up. They will run a history check on you an if you have any crimes pending or past tried they will show up. Recruiters arent bad people an yes some will tell you to lie but then again you have to see it from there eyes. You walk in an say I want to be a Marine. Then you say I have a history of this an that. Yes its nice that your honest enough to say that but thats not what they want to hear. It causes much more work. ALot of times recruiters are trying to make there numbers an the last thing they want to do is spend hours waivering you for this an that. Mental illness is pretty hard to waiver. I would be very nervous having you in my plt if I knew or even suspected you had a case of depression or the impluse to hurt yourself. I suspect your young but your now getting into a different world. You may be asked to go overseas in engaged an enemy. If your fellow Marines suspect anything weak about you they will be very wary about you. Youll have to proof yourself time an again till they feel a sense of security with you. On top of that there are programs in the Marines where you might not want to take assignment. Such as the PRP program. These programs an assignments could be from Barracks Duty to Fast companies or Embassy Duty. These billets require extensive background checks. Including talking to friends family an other methods of finding out who you really are an what your history was. Now the larger question. Military service for all its good things can be very depressing. Time overseas limited personal space physical an metal an constant stress can push folks over the edge. I know you said you have a brother in the Marines an thats a pretty big motivater but it should be more than that. It has to be in your heart of hearts. My brother an I were in the Marines together. For afew years I wasnt even stationed on the same coast as he was. After 3 years we finally ran into each other but it was only for a weak. You have some thinking to do. This really isnt about your brother this is about you an your future an how motivated you truly are. Theres a war on right now an I highly doubt this will end anytime soon. The days of peaceful service an getting away from your spouse an kids for the weekend for beers an laughs is pretty much over. You face the serious test ahead. You may find yourself in harms way an theres a very good chance you may be directly involved in combat. If you choose combat arms you stand very good chance of going overseas. Alot of folks have no idea the price of what is going on in Iraq an Afgan. Just about 1000 killed an another 6000 wounded. Alot of those wounded will never be the same. Arms legs hands eyes are gone. Also on top of that they will now have to deal with PTSD an other mental injuries. Theres alot to gain from the Service but theres alot to loose. For me I joined when I turned 17. In my mind there was no question of my motivation. I come from a family of Marines an paratroopers. I didnt do it for brothers or family. For me it was my deep down commitment of what I loved about my country an my feelings that I needed to take that step to do my part. Sorry this is so long but your question has no short answer. If you want to join you better be prepared to do whatever you can to get in. If your not willing to do that then your not as sure as you should be an should take a step back an think harder about your decision. If you get caught for lying it will most likely cost you a medical or general discharge but Im not a jag so this is just speculation. R/S Creepy847 Semper Fi. Heres some info you might find helpful. An honorable discharge can occur for several reasons: the contracted period of service is finished; an order of a superior or military court decides the term of service is over; the conflict is finished and the military unit is disbanding; being passed up twice in a row for promotion when eligible, though this may vary by branch of service; certain other circumstances, including (in some countries) homosexuality, though in the United States this was replaced by the "don't ask, don't tell" policy in 1993. A medical discharge is given when the service member has a medical condition that makes them unfit for military service. This may be an injury sustained in combat. A less than honorable discharge refers to a discharge that occurs under other than honorable conditions. This can be due to generally improper conduct, conviction of a crime either in a military court martial or a civilian court, or some other inappropriate action on the part of a soldier or someone associated with that soldier. The United States military subdivides less-than-honorable discharges into four categories, in increasing order of severity: general discharge; undesirable discharge; bad conduct discharge; and dishonorable discharge. Undesirable discharges or worse disqualify the soldier from receiving veterans' benefits under most circumstances, and any less-than-honorable discharge - even a general discharge - usually renders the discharged soldier ineligible for unemployment insurance benefits, because such a discharge is considered tantamount to having been "fired" from the most recently-held job. In addition, those given dishonorable discharges permanently forfeit certain citizenship rights, including the right to vote or legally possess a firearm in certain states. According to the government, there is no way for one to lose citizenship as such by any means, aside from voluntarily, and there is no federal law barring discharged soldiers from voting.

Cannibals in the Navy... Five cannibals were employed by the Navy as translators during one of the island campaigns of World War II. When the Commanding Admiral of the task force welcomed the cannibals he said, "You're all part of our team now. We will compensate you well for your services, and you can eat any of the rations that the Sailors are eating. So please do not indulge yourselves by eating a Sailor." The cannibals promised. Four weeks later, the Admiral returned and said, "You're all working hard, and I'm very satisfied with every one of you. However, one of our Chief Petty Officers has disappeared. Do any of you know what happened to him?" The cannibals all shook their heads. After the Admiral left, the leader of the cannibals turned to the others and said, "Which of you idiots ate the Chief?" A hand raised hesitantly, to which the leader of the cannibals replied, "You idiot! For four weeks we've been eating Ensigns, Lieutenants, Lieutenant Commanders, Commanders, and even one Captain, and no one noticed a thing. And then YOU had to go and eat a Chief!"

U.S. Navy Oath of Allegiance I, Top Gun, in lieu of going to prison, swear to sign away four years of my life to the United States Navy because I want to hang out with Marines without actually having to BE one of them, because I thought the Air Force was too "corporate," and because I thought, "Hey, I like to swim...Why not?" I promise to wear clothing that went out of style in 1976 and to have my name stencilled on the butt of every pair of pants I own. I understand that I will be mistaken for the Good Humor man during the summer, and for the Waffen SS during the winter. I will strive to use a different language than the rest of the English-speaking world, using words like "deck, bulkhead, cover, and head," when I really mean "floor, wall, hat, and toilet." I will take great pride in the fact that all Navy acronyms, ranks and insignia, and everything else for that matter, are completely different from the other services and make absolutely no sense whatsoever. I will muster (whatever that is) at 0700 hours every morning unless I am buddy-buddy with the Chief, in which case I will show up around 0930 hours. I vow to hone my coffee cup handling skills to the point that I can stand up in a kayak being tossed around in a typhoon and still not spill a drop. I consent to being promoted and subsequently busted at least twice each fiscal year. I realize that, once selected for Chief, I am required to submit myself to the sick, and quite possibly illegal, whims of my new-found "colleagues." So help me Neptune. Well just when you've seen it all. Today my wife an I went over to my mothers n laws to get OUR stuff out that we had in her basement. Shes having some work done in her basement so I thought it was time to get our mess out of the way. I didnt have anything there personally but my wife had some of her cloths there. Well so didnt my brother n law an his wife. I ended sorting an moving 2 rooms myself since my wife has a bad back. This took most of the afternoon. I decided to bring afew things to Storage to secure them an protect them from the elements. I rent a storage container that are 15 by 30 just big enough to keep the little extra Ive picked up over the years. Its just starting to get dark an the wife says I really dont feel like doing this tonight like shes gonna move anything. I saw her pick up 4 boxes about the size of a shoe box at her moms house today so I tell her Im gonna move the stuff just stand there an look busy like you always do. I slide open the doors an I notice thats theres alot of dust flying around. Wife says whats all that an I say its just alittle dust but thinking to myself this is alot of dust. Wife says thats not dust that looks like feathers. I say its dust an I walk around a box an step on something I know isnt suppose to be there. I dont jump up but I know I move pretty quick thinking what that hell is under my sandal. As my eyes get accustomed to the darkness of the container I see bird s**t all over everything. I under my foot is a dead bird big one too an then I see more dead birds. Being as dark as it was I found 6 of them all around the front of the container. Then my heart sank as I saw what they had done. All over my couches an chairs books an everything else is bird s**t. I mean nasty big chunks. I got so mad I start picking up the birds an throwing them out. I know I was throwing out F bombs left an right. My wife is laughing the whole time but I couldnt find anything funny about it. Theres nothing I could see that isnt covered in bird s**t. From the front to the back everthing has bird s**t on it. Considering I pay 100+ for this container an theres nowhere I see that Im responsible for birds being trapped in my container that Im gonna allow them not to pay for it. I know for a fact that I have never left the container open long enough to trap birds. I inspected it pretty close an found a small whole at the top of the container where the birds could make entry from one container to the next Come Monday morning I plan to take pictures an then bring them an my problem to the manager an make it theyre problem. Its one thing if dust gets on your property an I expect that but to have my personal property ruined by birds getting entrance to my container is just plain wrong. Pissed Off an s**t on. The last few days I was sitting around wondering if this guy was alive or dead. For most part I figured he was dead considering the last time I saw him. As some of you know Im a Marine but prior to my Marine service I had served with the Army 82nd ABN Co.C 1/508th. Some of you may not believe what about to tell you but I can assure you its true. In early 1981 I arrived to Co.C I was the youngest trooper in the divison at the time barely 17 years old an still a virgin. I didnt care for jumping very much never did but I enjoyed the spirit of the paratroopers. Shortly after my arrival to the company I was instructed to make a demo jump during daylight hours long with other members of my plt an my plt ldr. I was basically asked if I wanted to make the jump an to be honest I think my reply was if you need me sir Ill jump if not well I would just rather watch. I always had a bad feeling about jumping. At this time the 1/508th had the highest average of jumpers killed an injured. My 2nd jump we had 2 troopers entangle with each other an both ended up being killed. My roommate was also killed in another jump an after afew months you can walk around an always find a buddy who has been injured in some way. Its not fun an games that folks make it. Serious bussiness that demands you pay great attention to whats happening on board the aircraft. Hollywood jumping is one thing but Mass Tacs are something totally different. It only takes a second for some situation to develope that could cost you a limb or even your life. Getting back to the story Lt Armstrong my plt ldr asked me so I said yes if you need me. I was his RTO so I was jumping in front of him. It was 1 bird mass tac exit daylight equipment drop. The ride was smooth to the DZ an my exit was good. We were jumping from a C-130 both doors. After I exited I looked up to checked my canopy an all was well till I saw my plt ldr coming down thru the top of my canopy. I yelled to hiim but it was too late. He came crashing down thru my canopy lines an ended up entangled with me. My first action was to look at the sun on the horizion an say my famous line. "GOD HELP ME OUT HERE PLZ". He tried hard to get out but it wasnt happening. Finally after afew seconds my chute started to collapse an I knew we were both in trouble. we were jumping from 1500ft an thats normally higher than we do for our combat jumps but this was a demo for the convention. On the side of the drop zone were the WW2 Vets that served with the 82nd Abn. In this group of vets was Lenord Funk. In WW2 at the age of 22 he held the 1st sgt billet with the actual rank for Co.C 1/508th. He was known for his bravery but what alot of folks dont know is that he made 3 combat jumps with a hotdog attached to he harness. Ive seen pictures of this an know for a fact that its true. The hotdog was later killed after being struck by a truck passing by his position. Lt Armstrong an I kept talking to each other the entire time we were dropping. For a second I thought about cutting away but didnt have enough faith in my reserve for it to open before I hit the ground. Well to make this short we both ended up hitting the deck really hard. I was fine but Lt Armstrong was injured. He shook it off for the old Vets an hobbled up to the area where the vets were waiting. I ran up to a group that I knew were from my company in WW2 along with these members was Funk. Everyone was shaking hands an saying wow that was close are you alright Creepy. I said I was fine but I could tell that Lt Armstrong had a leg or foot injury but being the Ranger he was he wasnt showing it to them. Most of the members were wearing a necklace Im not sure what you call it around theyre necks. Next thing I know is that Mr Funk comes over to me an pulls his off. He asked me how old I am an how many jumps I have. I tell him an then he says young man you need some good luck. He takes off his good luck necklace an places it over my neck. Then he says to me "I made 2 combat drops with this Normandy an Nienmagen an it has brought me good luck. I want you to have this. I was shocked. I accepted it an I could tell Lt Armstrong was thinking you lucky little s**t. I wore it for months showered with it had sex with it on an never made a jump without it. A couple of years later I was on Ft Bragg on patrol. I needed to changed my t-shirt so I removed the good luck piece an hung it from a branch. While doing this we had to move suddenly an I grabbed my gear an got back in patrol formation an headed out. Not realizing I left it behind we moved out finished our patrol. The next morning I we arrived back at the company an I noticed it was missing. I grabbed my map an started asking fellowing troopers where they thought that security checkpoint was. I could not figure it out. I went back to the area on my motorcycle that afternoon an searched the area where I thought we were at. No luck. I felt s**tty for days I didnt want to look at myself in the mirror. Finally one day I said to myself if theres any place that belongs its in the woods on Bragg. Hopefullly some patrol with come thru an someone will find it. After Funk gave me that piece I never had another entanglment again. Although my roommate was killed in a daylight drop my luck never changed. I hope someone has it now an theyre taking care of it. That evening after the drop I was invited along with other members of my company to the hotel of the 1/508th Co.C WW2 vets. They partied all night an I found out that shortly before coming to Bragg Mr Funk had open heart surgery. He showed no signs of being week. These vets were the nicest most hoble men I have ever met. They broke out pictures an you heard so many stories. Mr Funk never bragged bout anything. Everyone around him was telling us how brave he was an even tho he won the MOH there were many other times that he went above an beyond in battle. This man was a drafted from PA. I talked to him for about 30min and he never mentioned his bravery. It was all about the Co an the men an how well his men fought the germans. Its been many years since that conversation but I can still hear his voice an his laughter. Today I found out that he did die in 1992 of cancer an while sitting here playing some music I thought I would share this with some of you that might be able to relate or have passion for our history an the men who gave up so much so we would not be where Hitler wanted us to be. Heres the information about his military achievements an his MOH. http://www.arlingtoncemetery.net/lafunk.htm All THE WAY MR FUNK. Creepy847
