Thx fates. Coop in this game would be a blast but like the Coop Mod for aliens vrs Pred 2 there will be issues. With the scripting of Aliens Vrs Pred 2 it was difficult for players to stay together. Once a player was killed it was impossible for him to return into the game. He would repawn in a locked area. Meaning if the team took an elevator he would no longer be able to catch up. Sometimes doors are locked an the player is stuck behind it while the team moves foward. My daughters an I used the Aliens mod alot an did have alot of fun. It took sometime for me to figure out how to install but in the end it did work. When your playing with a 10 year old an a 6 year old theres alot of on the spot correcting going on. With a mature group of players who know the game it would be possible Im sure. I will take notice of this warning an make sure I know what mods Im installing. Hopefully these thugs if they are stealing keys will get caught. Theres nothing worse than spending 50 or 60 bucks for a game an having someone steal your key with key generating software or misc mods. Thx Creepy847

For those of you that are sick of switching between your weapon an flashlight theres a mod for you. So far Ive found 9 mods on Planet Doom. Heres afew that you might like. You can check out the rest by clicking on the link below. http://www.planetdoom.com/ Piston Flashlight Mod 0.1: This adds a flashlight to your pistol in Doom 3. Author stated that the mod removed the muzzle flash from your weapon but I tested this an it had no effect on my weapon. I still had the muzzle flash an the flashlight. You cannot turn off the flashlight be its a nice addon giving you the ability to move an see an engage at the same time. Nice touch. http://www.fileplanet.com/files/140000/143916.shtml Sentry Robot Mod: This is a modification for Doom 3 that will reprogram the sentry robot to follow the player around the game I still have not been able to get the Sentry Robot to follow me. When I type the command in he appears in front of me but does not follow. Its almost like its asleep or not activated. I have read that the sentry robots are very effective against zombies an demons. They take alot of punishment. The command is suppose to be typed after you load a single player game. By bringing down the console: ctrl+alt+~ type in the following cmd. spawn char_sentry The other command is: spawn char_sentry_flashlight Im guessing this cmd gives you a sentry robot with alluminating abilities but who knows Im still trying to get the 1st cmd to work. Instead, they stay intact and remain there, thus allowing players to either inflict further damage or view the realistic carnage. This one works just like it says. In case your wondering the Seawolf SSN 21 an 22 are slightly shorter than the Virginia but heavier. They are much more expensive too. The Virginia has a price tag of about 2 billion per boat compared to the Seawolf class which are about 4.5 billion making it properly the most expensive weapon platform ever created. The last boat in the Seawolf series will be the SSN-23 Jimmy Carter. It will be 100ft longer than the 21 or 22. about 60 ft longer than the Virginia also. The Seawolfs are also faster than the new Virginia class. I was lucky to have been invited to the launching of the first Seawolf. It doesnt look very large when in the water but when its in dry dock an you walk around the bow you are blown away by the size of it. Its huge the beam about 40ft compared to the beam of the Virginia which is about 33ft. Im sure the SSN-23 will be the last Seawolf class boat built as they are much too expensive. R/S Creepy847

Just bought Doom 3 last night can you believe that in a game as high tech is this you have to actually hold a damn flashlight. I mean come on this is in the future they give you a pistol an a flashlight. I could have bought the game called Walmart Security Wars an had a better choice of weapons. The game is very dark so you need light an theres nothing worse than having one of those monsters standing right next to you in the blackness an scarying the poop out of ya. I have to go from holding my weapon to holding the flashlight You dont even have flares like Alien Vrs Pred 2. Anyways for the graphics an creepyness I give this game 8 stars ot of 10. It pretty system friendly to an you can config it for many system specs. They give you at least Creepy847 Semper Fi.

Thats very sad to hear. In Mirmar 1987 my uncle was killed in the same type of accident. Durning a low level flight he instructed the #2 guy to take lead. During this manuver the #2 collided with my uncle. The bottom part of the #2 crushed Eric's cockpit an killed him instantly. The #2 was able to eject but was a basket case for sometime. He apoligized to my aunt an grandmother an swore it wasnt his fault. The investigaion turned up this. At such an such hours the sun created a bright glare on Eric's canopy. Eric never knew the #2 was there till it was too late. Eric was selected as the top East Coast Fleet pilot an had won many awards. He was also one of the first instuctor pilots to train in Japan. Afew months before his death he was selected for the Astronaut program. Eric was not the typical looking fighter pilot by any means. Tall an lanky soft spoken an always a pleasure to be around. He taught my aunt how to fly an to scuba an parachute. He was one of the nicest people you could ever want to meet. He never flaunted or made you feel second best. About 6 months before his death I was passing thru Cali on the way to the east coast. I was in the Marines at the time so I decided to give him a call. I was hoping that he would say something like " Hey come on up an Ill see about getting you a ride". He had pull but that didnt happen. While I was talking to him we were talking about his favorite aircraft. He had flown just about everything and then I asked him what is the all time favorite jet youve flown. With a thought he said Keith it would have to be the little A-4 skyhawk. I asked why an he said cause its small an nibble an easy to fly. So much for a man that could fly anything. Well Eric is burried at Arlington Cemetary. I have yet to visit his grave. When he was killed I was stationed at Diego Garica with the Marine Security Team there. I was leaving in less than a week. The C.O. called me down to his office an gave me the bad news. He said I could fly out the next morning if I could pack up my gear an make the flight in time. I was hoping to carry him at the funeral. I ended up catching the flight to Clark but ended up stuck on Guam for almost a week with no flights availble to me. Since he was only my uncle I couldnt get slotted on Emercency leave so I wasnt able to secure seats. I missed his funeral by over a week by the time I returned to the east coast. With that said I will close. For all the s**t those guys have to go thru an the image people have of them they will never know just how quickly theyre lives end. My aunt Gayle still cant talk about him even tho shes remarried. Sometimes in game Ill be flying an wonder goddam how Eric would have loved sitting here with me showing me how to get back on the ship even tho its just a dumb computer game. Archer I love zzz's 5.0 ,but your latest sound mods are excellent. Not taking anything away from Z's ,but youve done your homework. Im a firm believer that good sounds from mech to envoirment are one of the most important factors for imersion type game play. When the Superhornet first came out I installed. It flew perfectly. After a week or two I went to fly it. After selecting the aircraft I clicked on fly an dropped out to my desktop. I tried afew times an still no luck. I redownloaded the aircraft an installed again still the same thing crash to my desktop. I tried other aircraft an they were fine they would load an I would fly. Ive put all the gauges in the proper folder an tried the new G an F models. Still the same I crash to my desktop. I recently updated my ATI drivers to the 4.5 cant remember if the aircraft worked prior to that. If anyone has an idea could you please respond to this post. Im sure there are afew of you with ideas. Please help if you can. I have the latest updates for Windows sound an video. System Specs: P-4 2.6@3.420 2 gigs Mushkin HP 3500 Abit IC7 Max 3 ATI Radeon 9800 XT 4.5 cats. Top Gun, thx for the post. Seems that in your panel folder there are 2 panels. When I first loaded the SH I left the extra panel alone. In the panels folder were 2 panel cfg files. 1 said panel an the other said panel backup_gauge. Since the aircraft worked fine when I first loaded it I never thought to try the other panel cfg. I deleted the orignal panel cfg an renamed the extra gauge panel back to panel an that cured the problem. Smooth flying now. All 3 SH's work fine now. I did uninstall my 4.5 Cats an Rage Tweek. Installed Beta Cats 4.6s an reinstalled the Rage Tweek but I doubt that was the problem. Im pretty confident the panel was the issue. Again thanks for the response Top. R\S Creepy847 USMC.
