  5. Nice....mhhhmm you might wanna look into the Italian East African campaigns. IMHO similar. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_East_Africa - Second Italo-Abyssinian War - WW2
  6. just checked my decals.ini on the 504D (can't test right now if they show up), but here's the entry
  7. Mhhhm just a couple of ideas: - Change the default key ('drop bombs') to something completely different - Double check your joystick 'deadzone' ,e.g. check if the throttle is really set to '0'. Check within Windows - Engine off is, AFAIK, something not availalbe within FE1 (and Gold). So the prop should spin around always - Set everything to default by deleting the file 'default.ini' (within First Eagles\Controls)....BUT MAKE A BACKUP COPY FIRST hope this helps
  8. I guess the pilot's must have felt pretty helpless in these crates. Last night I ran (alone) into two Fokker D.II .....no chance to escape Great addition and thx for the superb work
  9. great stuff!!
  10. Got it thanks! Question answered
  11. Hi everyone, quick question: Is there a way to define a 'Neutral' country within a terrain? Example: French/German border in the south we have Switerland. I know the 'Frontline' within the movement.ini file. But that goes from one point to another. In the above example this line splits up at the border with Switzerland (??) Also: Within targets.ini there's obiously ENEMY and FRIENDLY....can we add NEUTRAL? thx in advance for any hint
  12. speechless.....sooo cool !!!!
  13. Great stuff!! Now I need more time to test all those nice new things ...well, actually time at all....
  14. Nice!!

  16. Martinsyde upper wing center section fixed: - Opened the LODs with HEX editor - Changed every reference to the upper wing center section to another new bmp fantasy name - Renamed the bmp's - Works now Root-Cause? I've no idea! All the initial references, file formats, etc. were correct. I've just renamed the bmp's to something else...go figure rgds
  17. Great stuff....the Martinsyde AND the Caudron. Fantastic work! Thx a million!!!
  18. Impressive!!
  19. YESSSS!! Fantastic! Thank you
  20. Hi quack74 - thx for the reply...I can't get it to work ...guess I'm too stupid - It's already defined as 'weapon' (since the Morane is already using it) - Don't care about the color - It show's up as loadout (changed the loadout.ini) - Trying with the Nieuport 11 -> guess I've to change the data.ini....but where? - Added the below entry under 'weapon stations' (of course the attachment_position is not correct, just wanted to check if it shows up at all) - Guess it's not enough, since the node_name does not match with the Nieuport model (???) Do you have any ideas? Thx in advance! [streamer] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=1 StationGroupID=1 StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=0.0,0.5,0.00 AttachmentAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0 LoadLimit=100 AllowedWeaponClass=FT AttachmentType=NATO,WP NumWeapons=1 ModelNodeName=pylon_dummy PylonMass=0.001 PylonDragArea=0.00 FuelTankName=Ribbon_Red
  21. Hi everyone not sure if this was asked already (can't find it anyway with the 'search' function). The Morane which can be found here has streamers (defined as loadout). Now assuming I would use the Morane's streamer LOD, would I be able to attach that one to another airplane or even a pilot figure ? Not necessarly as loadout, but maybe fixed ? Can we add the streamer as a second pilot ? ..just thinking out loud here Background: http://www.theaerodrome.com/forum/other-wwi-aviation/51742-squadron-leader-id.html
  22. Great stuff, all the best for your move!
