The reason I know is very, very simple. Not all men can do it. Not all women can do it. It takes a certain kind of people, and Gender does not enter into it. We as a society are used to seeing female soldiers as something exotic like in the Amazon myths; with "women and children" the thing men are to protect. This is something that goes back to the days of the Greeks and the Middle Ages - Women are the weaker sex (with the Greeks not even bothering to find them sexually equal to males). The same mentality can be found in some middle eastern countries. Yet it has clearly been proven that women are just as able in all fields as men, given a equal chance. Regarding inabilities in the way of physical performance, you may want to check up stories and reports of the conscription armies of history. There was always a good number of soldiers who just did not cut it. Change this into I would dare say that as long as a somebody CAN perform at the level required then he or she is to be allowed to become part of the unit and you have my standpoint in a nutshell and that is my final say in this debate. Since the troops with them are healthy, mature and secure in themselves and their ability, there are also no problems with sexual harassment or similar charges. This is the fact. It makes it pretty clear that they - like men - may only apply if they can handle the duty they are to preform. You could just as well ask if men could handle it. You would find many men who could not. Myself among them. Gender does not per automatic logic make somebody competent. Training does. And this is the Womens fault exactly how? If some f***ing vermin are unable to keep their tabs off their co-workers, then they are the ones who should be punished. I do not see this as a valid reason at all. A soldier is expected to handle him or herself with dignity, valour, honour and integrity; especially to their fellow troops. Yes, I did try it but I found the generated missions and new tooltips to be of lesser quality. Also, I never found out how to actually change flyable aircraft in a specific campaign; only how to create a brand new one.

It can be done - and actually is done in some terrains. You have to make adjustments to the terrain. I do not know _what_ adjustments, only that they have something to do with airfields. So, yes - it exists and yes it can be done. All you need is somebody who knows what they are doing to fix the airfield. I could give it a shot, if you tell me what Terrain you want it for.

I find half of the fun is entering an area and having to figure out WHERE you are fired upon from.

Not quite. Normal is "Both sides AI follow the Nations.ini settings" as far as I know.

You are not. From the H model onward, they are capable to engage fast-movers. Otherwise, save your IRMs for the big boys and use guns on the smaller ones. The _only_ exeption is if the enemy are retreating, then the AI usually does not wish to expend fuel by using countermeasures, instead counting on their crusie speed and any comrades left in the fight to keep you from picking them off. If you are unsure what you can use a Early Missile on, a good rule is "One engine no, two engines yes, four or more; doom galore".

Cocas: Then learn to use them. I get an average 6/10 hit ratio with them. 9/10 vs Bombers.
