  1. From what I gathered speaking to Baltic people and their toughs on the idea, I get the general idea that any politician or military person to suggest such a thing could just as well jump over the fence to Russia first thing in the morning after. While there is great unity towards Russia, the Baltic countries really despise the idea to be as one in any sort of way again.
  2. Suggested that. He did not like it ^^
  3. Nice package! However, I would advice you to simplify the installation for the rest of us by organizing the files in the installation order and not just in a disorderly heap.
  4. Nah, we can probably rely on TK snoring on the coach, ignoring the forums and just going up every second day to check his Paypal account... ;-) In all honesty, TK rarely to never says anything about his plans. Silence from him is not out of the ordinary.
  5. Oh look, its the flying blueprint! Quite nice work you got there, Daniel.
  6. Not avalible in my country.
  7. If it is a digital copy, then I am game. If not, then I wonder if anybody knows where to find a digital copy of Lock On :)
  8. MIG-17F

This requires some work, so pay attention. 1: Download this package by Stary. http://combatace.com/files/download/12684-mig-15-mig-15-bis-mig-17-simplified-cockpit/ 2: Unzip the package so that the Cockpit Folder & MiG-15_Cockpit file ends up in the MiG-17F Folder. (Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Objects\Aircraft\MiG-17F or your equivalent) 3: Open the MiG-17F.ini file, and add the following line under [AircraftData] CockpitDataFile=Mig-15_cockpit.ini 4: Repeat for any other MiG you wish to have flyable. The cockpit I provided is suitable for MiG 15/17 and 19. If you wish for the MiG 17 PF/PFU; use this file: http://combatace.com/files/file/12852-mig-17-pfpfu-cockpit/ With that file, only installation in the MiG 17PFU Folder is necessary.
  9. Package only include the 87 versions for me. Is this intended?
  10. To be fair, I expect the people in this thread to make that kind of sense for me. I know nothing of skinning or declaring. And no, they will have Swing Role Fighters. No country will purchase more then one type; so that means one type of aircraft for Estonia & Latvia. Lithuania has L-39s and I will bring them in as well, but they will also have a modern fighter. Other then that, what you say makes sense. Lithuania, ofc already have a color scheme in place that I like.
  11. Money will be less of an object. Let us just say recent events in the story lines gave them a slightly larger budget to work with; but no Gripens NG (like Switzerland wanted) or F-35. As of right now, I think its something like Latvian Gripens, Estonian Harriers (I love that idea for some reason) & Lithunaia has L-39s, so I might give them ex-polish MiGs or the like. F-35 might be in it, but if so at a _very_ reduced amount in the Norwegian or Danish inventory.
  12. I will take liberties with stories set in the future, just as I do with stories set in the past. For all we know, the Baltic Air Patrol could just be a NATO training program... ;-)
  13. Sorry to hear that; I Really am. For me, SF2 WW2 is not optimal in the slightest, as there are many other games - esp Il-2 - who does a far better job with the overall feeling of World War 2 Dogfights then SF2. I much rather see the rare, obscure 50-60s aircraft then WW2 birds half of the games about WW2 already has in them. Still, if anybody ever makes a TBF Avenger that is not A-team; I shan´t be sorry.
  14. That one was lovely! If they ever get an Air Force, they should get Spinners to make their airplane designs. Btw, do you have a link to the What If Thread on those forums?
  15. The way I see it, the Baltic Air Forces must qualify under theese rules: 1: Cheap to buy. Economics are the same everywhere. 2: Pref cheap to Operate. Must be able to patrol alot, due to the border with the Russians. 3: Modern enough to be credible. 4: Quick Take-off Procedure; again due to border being so close. Ex Harriers, Ex Tornados, New Gripens (maybe even used A versions, but all those got converted to C, so..), F-16s, maybe even F-15s if there is enough airframes in good enough order. F-18 Hornet (Not Super version, only standard).
  16. Nope, I need something almost completly different, but since I am still waiting for that I decided to put this project inbetween
  17. Ex-RN Harriers is a good idea. The general idea is that cost in an issue - an Air Force is _expensive_. Estonian Harrier Gr 9 perhaps? The Latvian Gripen was so nice, I probably want that one into the mod. A-10 is nice, but I do not really see why they would buy it when their probably would go for a Swing-Role.
  18. That one looks pretty neat, Spinners. Well done!
  19. No Campaign of mine is ever going to have a F-4 in it if I can help it. I like the bird, but in SF-2; I had quite enough of it. Looking forward to see it :) Btw, I think I asked this before, but is there any Free-to-use NH90 Helicopters?
  20. I do not like the idea of all three nations sharing an Air Force. They have different stances towards Russia, different policies etc etc. Having one per country (or one per one or two of them) is prob the best way to go. The MiG 29 will most likely be a Polish Flyable, yes but atm; I want the Baltic ones ;-). This campaign is at the stage where nothing is done yet. Well, the Lithuanian Attack Squadrons are decided at least ;-) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithuanian_Air_Force
  21. What? You are off making Deltas? They look awesome! I approve!
  22. 2014. "Later" so it is Plausible, but Early so that the "Gripen NG" is not available (since we do not have one of those yet...)
