  1. Try jpg instead? You can convert them in Windows Paint if you need to.
  2. Try deleting the entire mod folders and restart the game?
  3. Start it from StrikeFighters2.exe That should solve it for you.

Not just you, Dave. Not just you...
  10. Do you happen to know if there is a TuAF F-102 skin? I am using the F-100D as a standin for both versions of Super Sabre. F-84F are the stand in for RF-84 for the time being.
  11. Operation Pirate Politics is a 1976 Campaign, featuring the Hellenic Air Force opposing the Turkish Air Force. In a brilliant covert operation, the Soviet Union seeks to destabilise NATOs Southern flank, by pitting the countries against each other. They succeed, by planting information that Turkey is about to take over Cyprus entirely. The Greeks, not wanting to be caught off-guard again, prepare an offensive action to retake the entire Island. When the Greeks plans are underway, there is a whisper in the Turkish ears what the Greeks are doing. In the air and in the water, Battle is imminent! OPP will feature both Air Forces as flyable (I do not want to be in the flack should I choose just one of them...) and will be aimed at fun-to-play. Unlike the Scandinavian Front, I will take liberties in the historical side of things, and in the order of battle. HAF Flyables: F-4E Phantom F-104G Starfighter Mirage F-1C F-5A Freedom Figther (Anybody know a HAF Skin for this one?) HAF AI: F-84F F-102 TuAF Flyables: F-4E Phantom F-104G Starfigther F-100D Super Sabre F-5A Freedom Figther TuAF AI: F-84F Suggestions are most welcome.

Overview: The Scandinavian Front (TSF) is a expansion pack type mod for Strike Fighters 2: Europe. It focuses on the efforts of the Scandinavian Air Forces to repel Soviet aggression in the Baltic area. Each part of the mod is self-sustaining and covers a different era, but they can also be merged Packages released: The Catalina Affair (1952) Operation Isbjörn (1956) The Gulf of Finland Skirmishes (1964) Operation Mannerheims Sköld (1966) Midvintermörker (2012) This package contains all released packages updated and ready to play. You also need Part 1! http://combatace.com/files/file/12979-the-scandinavian-front-mega-package-part-1/ Installation: First of all, make sure you are using SF2: Europe and that it is patched to the latest version. This is _vital_. Check http://www.thirdwire.com if you are unsure what the latest patch is, but the game should notify you if there is new patches out. If you are using a mod, or plan to use one, TSF will mess around with settings other mods may be using. As such, creating a seperate mod folder for TSF is a good idea. If you only plan to use TSF, then this step can be bypassed. Go to your installation folder (Usually C:\Program Files\Thirdwire\Strike Fighters 2). Make a copy of Strike Fighters 2.exe / Strike Fighters 2 Europe.exe depending on what you prefer and got installed. Name the Copy Strike Fighters 2 TSF.exe . Start your new .exe once, then close the game. Now go to your Mod Folders. For Windows 7/Vista, this is located in C:\Users\Name\Saved Games\Thirdwire. For Windows XP Users, it is usually in My Documents. Unzip the contents of the 7zip files into the mod folder of your choice. Allow any overwrites. 14. Back up

    Tally ho!
  15. Unless SF3 will be a package delivery (in the way of the current model, or maybe SF3 and just expansion packs if he is greedy enough) Korea game, I honestly cannot see it happening.
  16. I dont think you seriously expect that ^^
  17. I expect what Soulfreak has linked. Maybe five or six more scripts if we are lucky.
  18. I dont think TK looses that many sales due to Piracy honestly (depending on how much Insky pirates ^^). I pirated VoW and WoE back in the days, that got me buying all the following games and stuck with the series ever since. With todays overzealous anti-piracy measures, no DRM is a bonus if you ask me. I do however agree that if TK wants the series to survive after Expansion Pack 3, Multiplayer is a necessity. And yes, Diego has alot of valid points. I stick with SF2 because it is the best possibility for me atm to get a Swedish Flight Game. Ever wonder who I made TSF for? Myself more then anybody. That I can share it with you guys and the Swedish Flight Community is just a very awesome bonus.
  19. I seem to remember TK saying he would add one popular and one less popular aircraft from the vote per DLC If true, we will be getting Mirage and Ouragegon / Super Mystere
  20. For me, this topic have two sides. The first is that it seems flight games in general are on the rise again, and SF and in most respects SF2 are products of a generation where Flight Games and Simulators was pretty much absent from the market, especially after Microsoft declared they would no longer work on Flight Simulator titles and shut down the studio. That does not mean TW will meet a demise soon, as I think the current model works out decent. I say decent, because he will probably have to open his arms more to the community, or make a drastic increase the value of the product (and with that probably also the price). If he indeed starts with tablet games and such, as he has hinted at, I doubt their income would go towards the SF series. The funny thing is, I cannot make up my mind if a publisher would be good or bad for TK. He obviously needs a little push off his cushion and get back into the running. I doubt DCS and Jet Thunder will wake him up enough for this. This all said, I doubt we will ever see a SF3.
  21. I both agree and do not agree with Stary here. Some DLC I like, some I find not worth the time. The Mirage IIIC DLC for example is a good idea about a well done DLC. It fits, its flyable in Campaigns, reasonably priced and a thing that was lacking, but easily fixed. By contrast, I find most of the Hunters (The Sultan of Omar AF excluded) to be what Stary describes above. The fact that Paulopanz J 34 Hunter is better then the DLC one is actually a bit worthy of cringe.
  22. TSF would like to add they also would like one of these.
