  1. I think it will be able to handle it like a charm :). SF2 is by no means a graphic intensive game.
  2. I take that as a good sign.
  3. Sorry, but I laughted at the sheer outrage Wrench had at the mere tought :D
  4. Oh, Shiny! An Early low-vis experimentation camo! ;-)
  5. Sounds alot like a SF1 Solution of the built-in SF2 System where you can create pretty much an infinite number of mod folders.
  6. Hey, good work on the Squadron Numbers. They are where they ought to be. TSF BOSS is pleased! *purrs*
  7. Doing It For Real

    A great story! Congratulations!
  8. It looks great, but I have to mention a few things: 1: The Squadron Number (21 in the latter case) is always next to or very close to the body roundel. There was no exeptions. Check pictures of the Lansen, Draken or Viggen for an example. 2: The Splinter Camo was used for Attack Aircraft. The F-100D with splinter camo and attack ordinance would have been AJ-36B.
  9. So that's how he does it!

To be fair, it just should be known as the Tom Clancy Ghostwriter Plot Generator ;-) Communists devise a scheme to blackmail a congressman for ransom under the watchful eye of corrupt German officials (played by Americans with fake German accents). The plot twists when the Communists threaten to blow up the White House even after their demands are met. Millions of lives are at stake unless an ex-con with a big heart can learn to trust humanity again and stop the Communists once and for all.
  10. I used to be a CombatAce modder, then I got a new Knee ;-)
  11. No, there is no general collection of scripts. You have to look into peoples campaigns in order to learn available scripts. It does not work that way. If it is the last air offensive, then the nuke will be dropped when all other targets have been destroyed. You have to add CIA as a service, the same way as you do USAF. So instead of USAFUnit and all that, add CIA Unit. Also add CIA in the "Servicelist" in the Campaign.ini
  12. Nope. I am a Campaign Writer. I got a team to do my bidding and bring me stuff . Never done a airplane or such myself, but you will find getting permission is not very difficult. Do check the guys who are signed up for the CA Modders Agreement and thats quite many of us. I never am. I just think a little more North then Netherlands ;-) You must dig into a file called Nations.ini. Find it (or extract it), then add this: [Nation (NEXT NUMBER IN LINE)] Name=CIA DisplayName=Central Intelligence Agency Alignment=FRIENDLY PilotNameList=NamesUSAF.lst RankList=RanksUSAF.lst CallsignList=CallsignsUS.lst Formation.Fighter=USFighter Formation.Attack=USFighter Formation.Bomber=USBomber Formation.Transport=USBomber Formation.Tank=USTank Formation.MobileAD=USAD PilotTrainingStandard=EXCELLENT GenderRatio=0 DebriefSuccessMusic=DebriefSuccess.wav DebriefFailMusic=DebriefFail.wav DebriefKilledMusic=DebriefKilled.wav SpeechFile=USAFSpeech.cat SpeechTextFile=USAFSpeechText.cat Medals=MedalsUSAF.ini MedalTextFile=MedalsUSAF.str UseFAC=TRUE ActiveDate=1948 AlternateDecal=USAF_OLD Then you can add CIA as its own service the usual way. That is tricky. However, like I said, an Air Offensive is your best bet, but I suspect that you already use it for the start. It also means alot of friendlies in the blast zone. Look for the "AirOffensive[001].Primary=WAREHOUSE" lines. Add a AirOffensive[001].FocusArea=Hanoi Lastly, add StartOffensiveDate=03/05/1966 (Change the date for the day your new squadron appears).
  13. You cannot create specific missions on specific dates, sadly. That should be on top of my wishlist, but it aint. You can however create a squadron of aircraft that appears on that date and make sure there is an air offensive on Hanoi that date as well. Make sure the Nuke is part of the usual strike package, and do not use that aircraft for any other squadron. However, this means putting off any other Air offensives. The second part of the wish is impossible, I tried it myself, but you cannot have triggers - as the term goes. This however can be done. You need to check the Strategic Nodes. Then simply "connect the dots" to whatever targets you wish them to engage. Using a Vietnam Targets or Cities list is usually the best way to do this. Another thing you may want to note for your campaign is how China and Soviet Union would have reacted if a Nucelar Solution was applied in Vietnam.
  14. That is pretty much what I spent two months doing. Did not work out. Way, way too random and you never got the feel that it was a large war you where figthing. The idea struck me today after Baltika told me it was probably not possible. I have yet to decide if I do it or not, but the idea would probably feel disconnected. Also, the second part on the campaign - based on the E1 strategy - is that if E1 succeds, the army is out of the fight alltogether. So I will probably have to invent smart soviets who think ahead and do not wish to subject themselfs to E1 in the first place.
  15. The SF1 ones ought to work fine for SF2. EDIT: They did not. They crash when you start em up. Might look trough them when I have the time but I am by no means good at aircraft customization. And that is too bad, the Fantan is a Sweet ride.
  16. Seems like I do that alot nowadays. You should have seen my iniatial outline for Mannerheims ^^ I dont suppose there is a good way to make the iniative shift mid-campaign?
  17. TK still have 11 hours to release the game for my Bet in the contest :D
  18. The Åland Hemvärnsflottilj is not having a good day...

  20. Ladies and Gentlemen, dont know if this is new or not, but found this in MissionSummary.ini: [TRANSPORT] [AIR_ASSAULT] [TRANSFER] [TRAINING] [sCRIPTED] [bALLOON_BUSTING] [bALLOON_DEFENSE] [PRECISION_STRIKE] [sPECIAL_ATTACK] [NAVAL_SEARCH] [NAVAL_ATTACK] NumLines=1 NumVariation[1]=1 [ESCORT_JAMMER] [ESCORT_DECOY] [CRUISE_MISSILE] [sCRAMBLE] NumLines=1 NumVariation[1]=1 [AMBUSH] [sEAD_ESCORT] [ANTI_RADAR] NumLines=2 NumVariation[1]=1 NumVariation[2]=2 [CAS_DEFENSIVE] NumLines=2 NumVariation[1]=1 NumVariation[2]=2 [ESCORT_SHIP] [RECON_BDA]
