The Scandinavian Front Team are proud to present: THE CATALINA AFFAIR The Catalina affair was an incident on June 13, 1952, when a Swedish military Douglas DC-3A-360 Skytrain flying over the Baltic Sea carrying out signals intelligence gathering operations for the Swedish National Defence Radio Establishment (FRA), disappeared east of the isle of Gotska Sandön. Three days later, two Swedish military Catalina flying boats searched for the DC-3 north of Estonia. One of the planes was shot down by Soviet warplanes but the crew ditched near the West German freighter Münsterland and were rescued." As the survivors are flown from Finland with a military escort, the DC-3 wreckage is found by the Swedish Navy. Stalin at once declares the wreckage soviet property as "is filled to the brim with Soviet State Secrets" while Sweden declares their intention to combat any attempt to stop a salvage operation on international waters. As the Swedish Navy rallies off Gotland to blockade the Baltic Navy ports from the point "Svensksund", the Soviets steam out to meet them....

  9. Just a heads up: For Package updates, check this thread or our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/TSFMod). I will no longer post patches in new posts on the file page, just update the current one. This to make updating and linking easier. We have done some more work on the Vampires, and progress is beeing made with the Draken as well :)
  10. We always try to find the shortcuts ;-). Sometimes, there are and sometimes there is not. You will however never be ceased to be amazed to what you can do with SF2 Campaign and Scripting tools :)

I seriously hope that is the last bug with the cursed ground war - I wish you could tell the game just to use what it had :D - but now the AI should not stall too much. The bug I found pretty much meant there would only be one battle, then the invasion would stall completely. Let me know if you find more.

  14. You need to extract the AA units and create new versions of them. Give them the nation name of the allied nation in their Data file and voila!
  15. Lack Expansion Pack 1? Not a problem! J 28B Vampire by Pasko and Knug now avalible for everyone! (Seriously, who posts a complete aircraft of a J 28B Vampire under WW2 Skins???) Feel the need for speed? We can fix that with Pauls newly skinned A 32A Lansen, with adjusted 3D model by Timmy! The Beer for these charming fellas , is however on you ;-)

    SF2E: The Scandinavian Front Operation Isbjörn 1.3 Stand Alone. By The Scandinavian Front Team. Special thanks to gillg and Wrench. In 1956, diplomatic talks about the Baltic Sea region between Finland, Sweden and the Soviet Union broke down. Angered and afraid of NATOs influence in Scandinavia, The Soviet Union demands that Finland and Sweden joins the Warsaw pact to ensure the borders of the Union. Both countries refuse. On October 1th, the Soviet Union deploys forces to force the countries into the pact. Sweden, Finland and Norway set condition Isbjörn, activating an alliance against Soviet Agression and rallies to defend Scandinavia... Installation Instructions: Simply unzip it all into your mod folder. I would advise you to use a clean installation so there is as little risk as possible for errors. This mod does not overwrite any original data and can be used alongside any Central Europe themed mod Campaign - in theory. If you own Strike Figthers 2 Israel, unzip the "Install_if_you_have_SFI_Exp1" file into the mod folder as well, and allow any overwrites. This can be used as stand alone or to patch earlier versions of Operation Isbjörn. Important Notes: SF2 Europe is a requirement. Preferably, use a fully merged installation. The Terrain itself is not very combatible with the other games, hence the requirement. While the DLC 008 Hawker Hunter is not required, its strongly recommended for this campaign. If you have the A-21R from A-Team Site, This campaign has a squadron that flies it - if installed. Kindly report any bugs or issues to me by PM or in proper thread. 1.3 Additions: A 32A Lansen (Early) The Lansen have been reskinned and revamped completly.   19. OP Isbjörn Patch 1.3 will be released today. Just going trough the last little details ;-) Nothing actually _new_ to fly, but one heavily upgraded bird, and one filled for people who lack another SF package.

    And there the game DIED. Did they miss completly that it was mods and payware aircraft that made FS series what it was? ...so I will not be able to fly over Stockholm, and probably will have to pay for the pleasure? Gee, thanks.

    The way I heard it, they aint even calling it a Demo. They try to say its a "Free" version where only Hawaii is avalible, and if you register the game with Games for Windows, you get the Steerman as well. (I look forward to that one, I am a big JAG fan :D)

  25. I think the T-64 is a A-Team mod, as such you need the Lods from their site.
