  1. Can't wait to write a review... Maybe publishers on the opposite side of the world from you will get interested.

Yes, Gr.Viper, I think maybe Dante could consider that Russia is the leader country today in high detailed combat flight simulators.

It might be a huge company like 1C that could be interested in publishing Jet Thunder around the world. They have the experience to do so.

  2. I have seen Dante demonstrating Jet Thunder in the Hardsoft television show.(brazilian)

The game seems finished to me or almost finished.

He demonstrated DM who actually is well detailed (including separated system failure, like hidraulics failure) and something that I doesn´t know :flyable Esquilo helicopter.

Can you comment to us , Dante and maybe give to us a release date?

BTW, that´s a really beautiful piece of software from your entire team, many thanks!

  3. No takeoffs or landings, but I've seen that to start the engine in the air one has do dive and make the airflow spin the prop. And you'd better have plenty of altitude for that.

The version nqb had on display had very basic controls but the blip-switch was there on the rotary N.28. They've decided to make game both noob- and hardcore-simmer-friendly. The first will get the HUD and easy flight model, the latter wil have their stalls and stress damage and blip-switch (with gradual cylinder blipping) and mixture management.

Interesting that ground objects have people in them and those people have bones for animation so technically animating drives and gunners is posssble. So is wing-warping but they're not sure about that - taking it ino calucations is easily dou, but making it visible is a CPU killer (the game already seems quite demanding there).

    A-a-a-and I got a t-shirt

    Hi, Gr.Viper.

How about the frame rates in game and what kind of CPU ,RAM and VGA they are using to demonstrate the game?

Can you provide us some info?

  4. I am having the same problem of Argintine Planes blowing up on the runways in single missions in the Falklands 82 Mod. Where is the Runway Airbase Date file that I need to change ???

    Thanks;

    Panama Red

It´s working flawless for me since I change terrain from Desert/Desert.CAT to VietnamSEA/VietnamSEA.CAT

This campaign teach me how to make very precise bombing with the A4( you need to do well this to be able to sunk ships)

Thanks very much for the modder, this is a masterpiece, really.

Another thought:the AI is improved, since the last patch is this mod also.

Where are the folders who have the AI combat skills parameters?

If I do install old mods like korea, AI aircraft will fight with enhanced abilities too?

  5. We all have them, those Missions that we just can't forget. Good or Bad, Lets hear them!

For me it was over Korea, I'd hit my target and got jumped by some MiG-9s. I should have dropped tanks, but instead i tried to outfly them. At last i had them almost in guns range, when out of nowhere a pair of Sabers zipped in and stole my kill, i have never wanted to shoot down a friendly so bad.

    51sandSabers.jpg

Please, tell me:the Korean mod is working right with the last patch?

  6. A fantastic surprise! Thanks Nils!

And thanks to C5 for that little history lesson.

    Fantastic Job!

Question:the mighty mouse rockets have some kind of guidance?

About the drop tanks, I can see them on it stations , but I can´t drop them. When I try it drops only two little white cubes, the drop tanks remain in there.

Mighty Mouse pods can´t be dropped too.

Thanks again about this impressive work!

  7. Luiz Carlos,

Current system requirements are about the same to run IL2 Sturmovik series. It has less hardware requirements than, lets say, MS FSX or perhaps Lock On FC.

The system I use to test the game, note they are quite low for current gaming industry standards:

    AMD 2.2 GHz

    1GB RAM

    Nvidia GeForce 6600GT 128MB

    MS Sidewinder 2 ForceFeedback joystick

Since there's a large market for Jet Thunder in Latin America due to the historical theme of the simulation, we'll try to keep the specs low and compatible with the reality of the latin american consumer.

Thank you very much for your reply.

It´s good news to know that the code is good enough to produce so good graphics in low system requirements.

    Keep the good work!

  8. Incredible work! Some guys here have really a professional level in A/C modelling.

About the Voodoo:you can dogfight against mig 21 using E-management and Boom and Zoom tactics.

I bag three ina row in my first mission (flying hard)

Have to admit it´s not easy task, f101 it´s a huge bird.

I hope someone could do a campaign for this bird,it´s more than worthy of that.

One question: is it possible to add brake chutes to the other A/C in the game?Nice detail!

  9. Thanx for the news; It's very exciting hear about this news advances.

    Saludos! :good:

Hi,Dante.Really awsome work you and your team are doing.

Do you think is possible at this point of development to know what flyables A/C we will have and the aproximate system requirements to run smooth the game?

(one you are using to do the in game videos for example)

    Thanks

Todo o apoio em seu projeto!

  10. TK's comment on that is DO NOT put anything into the windows system formula!

    my post and link above.

The only way to put weapons editor to work for me was locating it in windows/system folder(Dave´s hint)

It works perfectly since then.My copy of WOV is september patched.

I only have to change into Terrain/Malvinas/Malvinas.ini folder from Desert/Desert.cat to VietnamSEA/VietnamSEA.cat in order to be able to activate the airfields and the stock objects.

Since then Falklands it´s working fine , AND aircrafts are using the new improved AI routines.

The only real problem are minor graphic glitches in water and the usual idiotic behaviour of the wingman.(he really is not worthy of his paycheck)

  11. Luiz,

To be true, I installed over a well played WOV installation after adding this last released patch.

The problem is that I can´t lock targets even having radar, or by asking by radio, using the R key. It´s harder when the target is located over the terrain.

I was flying with the Superetendard and wingman was responding to my orders, but now tahat I´m flying with the A4 they seem very stupid too, just flying around me.Erratic behaviour for sure.

I´ll have to defeat Royal Navy myself...

  12. I want to ask:

Is there any possibility to lock targets (I mean by the box) because I can´t get my wingman attack my target. Nothing seems to work to make him shoot anything. He only flies by my side.

In some missions, you have to locate by yourself in the radar the enemy taskforce and get close to 40-50 km to be able to use the red box.In the mission map you will get an idea of the possible location of the enemy force.

if you can use the red box, wingman will attack , in my case everything seems to work fine, I don´t have an idea what´s going on with you.

Do you have made a fresh install before to apply the mod?If you do the way it´s explained in the readme everything should work fine.

  13. In Malvinas campaingn Mode (Argentina side), the argentine force still enemys. I modified the campaingn data, the british are ENEMY and argentinian are FRIENDLY, but does't work!!!!

Please help me (and please, sorry by my horrible english)!!!!!!!!!

    Excellent work!

It´s important not to forget to change in the terrain folder to VietnamSEA/CAT for those who have installed over WOV.

Mine is working pretty in a september patched WOV copy.

    Many thanks.

Just a question:how to sink MV Atlantic Conveyor or Fleet Oiler? The Exocet can´t do the job.Maybe four 1000 lb bomb could?
