Yea..a Firefox would be nice!! Plus alot of the systems can be simulated based on knowledge gained from the Talon projects. Just the backward firing missile/radar thing which could post a problem. Got to think in Russian!

Yup the XL has almost double the range and payload over the standard F-16 and still able to fly faster. Probably loses out a fair bit of agility and T/W ration should suffer as well.

Hey Falcon 161 Any thoughts on westernizing the Flanker to use a US style cockpit, not just a cockpit repaint but US gauges and radar display. And since its a US Su-27..how bout a designation change ..err..F-27A Retaliator or something.

Hmmm the best thing to do is to visit the OUT file like Wrench said...thats what i did for the Kfir. If you cant find the OUT file, maybe you can also look into the LOD using a hex editor but thats a time consuming process.

I tried looking into the Kfir data ini files but cant seem to find a matching one. So if anyone knows please :P BTW this skin rings a bell somewhere :D

Yup..finally found it after trying several different names. To my surprise it was 'nose'

I really like the mottled and dirty look on that Cat. The default ones look way too clean.

Not a fan of the Talon but this model is of very high quality and therefore deserves praise. I like how the weapon's bay open and close automatically when a weapon is fired..something lacking in previous models. The cockpit recam system and exploding engine is interesting too.

If this is done then we would also need to separate all the fictional skins and mods. Up to the owners :P

Hi Yes, i have 3 decals on the left and the same 3 on the right. I am using the stock F-4J. I am now trying the air intake mesh. I see. Wish we had more slots for decals. Gotta find another way round i guess.

Hi USAFMTL I notice on some meshes like the F-4's fuselage mesh i can have up to six decals, 3+3 reversed. On other meshes such as the vertical tail i can only manage a 2+2 reverse. This decal thing is making me dizzy

Thats the XFA-27, a completely different design other than the same designation number. I only played it in AC2 and looks like a very stylised anime type super plane. With those massive ventral fins i wonder how that thing rotates.

I remember Tornado! Those anti-runway missions were simply annoying almost suicidal . I would leave it to the AI since they never get shot at. Too bad cant run it well on a current pc..i miss that sim

Looking good so far...i would probably give the radar display more polys but i can understand you wanting to optimize performance. This pit deserves a better Viggen lod file..hope Swede reconsiders :P Looking forward to the Draken pit too.

I never seen the Sv-51's undercarriage in the OVA since they always launch from the sub carrier. Maybe Hasegawa is making taking a guess but it does look 'Russian'. I thoughts thats the JA-37D digital Viggen cockpit which also gave it AIM-120 capability. Shame the newly upgraded jets were scrapped almost immediately.
