Blimey sorry I asked! back to the far superior IL2 then EH?

Hi sorry if this is in the wrong place, Anyone can tell me how to get a realistic engine shutdown sound and how to make it work? after I have landed and taxied to the base I switch the engine off, and it just go's silent instantly, really lame, so any fix appreciated

I Agree with macelena missiles are far to effective, it would be much more fun to get some damage and limp home with a cranky aircraft like in IL2 rather than the current Dead when hit, as it seems to be now? Shame

Christ! just wasted an hour creating an album to upload as you suggested , then it says "you are not permitted to upload this type of file" ! meaning .bmp's? the game saves screenshots in .bmp format but we cant upload that WTF!!!!! Yes I tried renaming them all to .jpg but same meassage what a waste of my time I,m Done..

I've been learning this skinning lark this week, great fun,, probably not good enough to upload but I like em, all factious but colourful and feasible? I did a set using animal skins themes too, like Tiger, Zebra ,Cheeta etc, and more traditional ones like the harlequin patterns and Diamonds etc I've loads more pictures but it says 1mb max upload, how do you get around that as I see others posting many pictures on the same post?

SupGen , Man that's some going figuring my setup from that distance, However the wiring hasn't changed essentially from the standard Black widow flight stick/yoke? When I said the FFB was setup on the rudder pedals , I literally mean they are sitting on top of the pedals (see pics above on the link) So as far as I am aware they should still be activated in the pitch mode (when detecting a stall?) but in no way to contradict you as your diagnosis obviously worked like a charm, your answer is intriguing, and has made me take another look at the wiring set up I now have? It is entirely possible I may have crossed a wire? or the windows "Device manager" took a short cut or is/was confused by the fact I have a Saitek X52 pro now as my main etc? Whatever the issue, I will be eternally grateful to you. I plan to add 2 more FFB motors by attaching them to the existing FFB Motor wires, hopefully there won't be any voltage drop issues or explosions?, but will be really good to have both the throttle and stick and feet vibrate. I,ll keep you posted on that one, next I will try to get FFB into First Eagles I just download using your fix? Cheers

SupGen! You evil Genius! It Works! THANK YOU very much!!! Don't know why there was no ini's in the flight folder? Im referring to the flight folder in SF2NA which is where I have all my mods? I will study the ini too to try to learn a bit more and keep the file you kindly sent , forever thank you. Now I want to try to get it to rumble as bit sooner to warn of a stall etc , like the F-101 VooDoo is a bitch for that which makes it great fun as the flight model in SF2 is a bit lame compared to say IL2? I for one hate the ROF Pay per plane model 777 studios? , I bought the original ROF and was utterly disgusted with the lack of aircraft ,and astonished they think this would be a great way to make money? i'll never understand anyone who pays for "extra content? When there is such a fantastic modding community out there, and so many great games which have been transformed by the modding Gods. WHY do people accept that? I can't name a single title that worked first time out of the box? would you accept a new car like that? OK CD's are history, so why not have the games released on a usb stick or sim card or something Long live Modders!

Hi Id like a copy please, im Exiled in Ireland (Republic of) but from UK originally HELP! PLEASE! there no pc shops in this dump! Hey Romflyer thanks, I think you may have something there with the FFB being assigned to the primary controller? However SF2's working AND recognising separately the Rudder (from the black widow flight stick) and everything else for that matter, they all show up in the control config panel in SF2NA and work, Its the FFB which needs a workaround, so if you have any ideas? Ive been searching the web for 2 weeks trying to find a solution but as SF2 is so limited with its control? My FFB works perfect in IL" FSX X plane 10 , DCS etc etc just SF" and First eagles wont play and its a real shame as I really like the way the Voodoo is a bitch to fly and stall warning rumble would be superb and a genuine flying aid on that beast. Hope you can come up with a solution? I downloaded and played around with FEEdit a force feedback tool, as far as I can see it just changes the length and pulse of a "Rumble" I was hoping it would have a facility to increase the power of the rumble and/or have the workaround I need?

hi widowmaker-uk, thanks, why don't you then? I mean think about it, mine takes up less room then a normal family wardrobe, or about the same area as a 2 kid bunk bed etc. The wood n screws cost about £80 in total, its just 6mm sheets 8x4 x 6 of and a box of self tapping wood screws from Aldi £4.99! you already have a computer and joystick right? The rest is just bits from old computers (right hand panel) and an old Black widow joystick. and I mounted the FFB motor on the home made rudder pedals (see pics) that's just a piece of 2x1wood batten with bought metal brackets from a hardware store.

Hi Romflyer, the FFB motor now sits on top of my home made rudder pedals which is very effective, I plan to splice into the FFB motor wires and run 2 more motors, one to the base of the x52 throttle and one to the stick, should be great.
