Hi guys, just thought i would pose a question. I have SFG and love it. I have lots of add on aircraft and campaigns and so forth. But i noticed WoE in my local shop and would like to know if it is worth purchasing WoE as well as keeping SFG. Or os SFG just a older WoE. PS sorry if i hijacked this thread. Cheers -

Did you get it to work Tannethal? 'cause i didn't. I have just got the escorts and carrier sitting in the ocean, not moving. Does anybody know if this can be done in SFG? We have seen that it works in WoV, so why not SFG? Answers anyone? -

Did it! The boats are now friendly, (although you can not target them) and are not firing on the carrier. I moved the position of Alpha station from 700000,700000 back a bit to 650000,700000 and that did it. That must have been in enemy territory. Now all i need to do is make them move with the carrier. I have checked the TK site and got some answers there but no one got around to answering the moving question. Can this be done? cheers all -

Well i have added the Spruance and the OHPerry alongside the carrier in the modified '60's burning sands campaign, by adding this to the desert target. ini file, which i got from gramps's aussie carrier campaign for WOV. Yes i have tried both of those but no help there. I need to find out what to place in the campaign.ini's to make them appear. Is it a [groundobjectXXX], or [navalobjectXXX], how do you place it next to the carriers and so forth. If anyone has info, please share. Cheers -

Hi everyone, i just installed the B.S. 1983 Campaign and i can not even load SFG anymore. I get a CTD without any explanation why. And i did try over a clean install. I couldn'y find anything else anywhere except a post saying that probs were fixed. Any help? -

Fixed it myself. Just reinstalled the original updated Burning Sands Campaign, and it worked. Sweet. -

Yes!!! Got it to work but now the navy and marine units don't have a carrier to take of from and the each mission starts in the bottom left hand corner. Anyone else get this prob? The forum topic has been moved or closed for this DL, is there something i am missing? -

Firstly, welcome Sora. You will no doubtedly find almost all your answers here in these forums. I myself have only had this game for about 3 months, but i have never grown tired of it. Just think this game is 4 years old and look at the fan base. The Mods, the skins, the dedication that people show here is awesome. And people like you and me are more the grateful and perhaps awed by the contributions others have made. Well done guys!! -

Well, i start the burning sands updated campaign (with the aircraft carriers and the RAF) in the Mercenary unit, and on the second mission i have my sabres preloaded with some wierd loads, but when i select each pylon to be empty, I still have 17 3inch RP60lb HE (SAP) rockets loaded and cannot take them off. But it has only been for that mission so far. It's really no biggy now, I thought that it would happen for every mission, but so far it hasn't. But, if this is a prob for others as well, then maybe it needs fixing. Actually, it has happened more than once and it looks like a reaccuring problem. It takes up $1000 (sometimes even more), with ordanance i dont need let alone cant even use. -

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has encountered this problem, I have installed the latest patch and started a new campaign, evertime i go to the loadout screen, there are some weapons loaded that i cannot remove? Anybody else? And is there a way to fix, it's costing my mercs money i don't need to spend. Cheers -

I found this and i had to change the names of the missiles from AA-6 to the new NATO designation. If you have the latest weapons pack, all the designations are in there. I started a thread here somewhere to re this and was able to make it happen in single missions. -

A really big thx to Da.spungie and extra huge thx to Doghouse for their persistance and patience in helping me play my first OL multiplayer game of SFP1. Really really appreciate it guys. They were both in HL, trying to play WoV, when i popped in to see who was there. (i dont have WoV) I noticed DH was in the room and he has tried to help me before, they both left the WoV room to play SFP1 with me, then removed some aircraft just s i could be compatible and play the game. DH then posted me the offending planes so i could use them in the game. Thx guys, just wanted to give these guys public credit for their help. -

Hi everyone, I am in the middle of making my AI enemy fighters more interesting by giving them missile capabilty. I noticed that while flying in single missions and instant action, (also LAN multi coop) that the soviet fighters never appear with missiles. So i have changed there loadout files to include the new R-3R and R-13M etc. missiles, but they have a service end date and I was just wondering if there is a way to have new missiles installed on the same pylon after the service end year of the other? I have looked at the US loadouts and didn't see anything different, also i have had a quick scrimage thru existing threads, but couldn't see anything. Any help on this? Cheers

Yeah, i noticed that. Another thing i noticed is when i attack a runway in single missions, the enemy loadout resembles a recon setup, instead of say, intercept? Oh well, at least the are still armed. -

Hi SF community, love everybodies work here, absolutely awesome. Just wondering if it is possible to add enemy aircraft that are AI controlled and not available to fly in the instant action/single mission games? I have just DLed the F-16, AV-8C, FA/18A and F-15C and wanted an adversary more suited to these craft. I have the latest patch and weapons pack for SF-P1, and was wondering if someone could help me out, Is there an existing thread or post that i missed about this somewhere or is it a new question? Oh guys it worked, but i just moved the cockpit configuration settings file and the aircraft doesn't show up in your player single mission list, but does still appear as an enemy, when you fly. wicked. And i am impressed by the timely responces too. Keep up the good work everyone. -

Any particular site? I have tried the MIG-23M from here and the others from the C-5 site but they both showed up in the flying list and i could not see them as enemy fighters on single missions. Is there a way to make this happen?
