  1. I've always loved the look of the SPAD... Taken with TH2Go at 3840 x 1024. I have the side monitors set in at an angle to wrap around my workstation so the fish-eye lens look is not quite so evident in game.
  2. I've made an attempt to recreate the British 0.303 SPG Mark VIIG tracer round that became available in late 1916, and was produced through 1938. It used a payload of 8 parts Barium Chloride and 1 part Magnesium to produce a bright greenish white trace. The most common example of these rounds had a headstamp of KN for Kings Norton Metal Co., Birmingham, UK. This company was formed in 1890 at Kings Norton, it owned its own rolling mills and had a loading plant at Abbey wood in Kent. Cases were made in Birmingham then assembled and loaded at the Abbey Wood Factory, next to Woolwich Arsenal. If you're interested the texture files needed are posted in the OFF Mod Download section. *** Please make a back-up pf your originals. ***
  3. British SPG Mark VIIG Green Tracer

Shows both my rounds going into the parked aircraft, and the airfield AAA coming up from behind.

  6. Any One Tried 3 Monitors?

A couple of years ago Track IR opened up a whole new world of simming for me. This year brought TH2Go, and it was yet another quantum leap in immersion. Very highly recommended.
  7. I really must add my testimonial to the others. I had a problem, and was told it might be a while before they could work on it. In less than 48 hrs a fix was ready! This is the way support should always be.
  8. TH2Go Problem

I took a stab at writing a profile for the Matrox SGU to switch the resolution automatically, but it does not change the desktop resolution, and the OFF Manager overrides the Matrox commands. When I tried to go into 3D flight mode the Matrox SGU resolution commands then came into conflict with the base game's config xml, and kicked me back to the OFF Manager. Oh well, it was worth a try...
  9. TH2Go Problem

Okay, it's a bit klunky, but yes you can change your desktop to 1280 x 1024 and see the OFF Manager as intended. When you go to fly it jumps up to 3840 x 1024. As you exit it resets to 1280 x 1024. Inconvient to reset the desktop back and forth all the time just to play, but it works. It would be nice if there was a profile function like there is for the 3D settings that would change the desktop res on the fly when the program starts, and set it back when you exit.
  10. TH2Go Problem

I definately agree, that would be outstanding. Being able to run the OFF Manager at a different resolution than the flight simulation is definately one way to fix this.
  11. TH2Go Problem

Here's a better example of the problem with the OFF Manager.
  12. TH2Go Problem

I agree, once you're in the simulation it's fantastic (though it can still bring even my 1 GB GTX285 to it's knees on all 5's and 8xQ AA). Combined with Track IR it's simply brilliant. I haven't been able to find any xml files that have the UI Screen layout data, so my guess is that it's all hard coded into the OFF Manager exe. I'd be willing to work with the interface programmer to develop a patch that can deal with 3840 x 1024 if the OFF team is interested.
  13. menu screens and TH2GO

I just got my OFF DVD and have the same problem with TH2Go.
  14. TH2Go Problem

Here's an example. Perhaps someone has found a fix for this now? :helpsmilie:
  15. TH2Go Problem

I just go my DVD, and with TH2Go have the same problem with all of the menu text being too large for the boxes they're in so you can't see the lower half of each word. On some of the screens it's so bad they're fairly well unusable.
  16. Thank You MK2

    Thanks MK2. You Rock!
  17. Some FS-WWI things

Thanks for all you do to keep this alive. I've had a great time flying the classics. Plane Pack 5 sounds like a nice way to finish things up.
