File Name: TalonTiger File Submitter: Deadhead File Submitted: 4 Sep 2006 File Updated: 7 Dec 2006 File Category: F-37 Skins Here's a Tigerskin i knocked together for the excellent F/A 37 Talon , hope you like it. There are no decals but all instructions (i think) are included. I really like this aircraft and i can't wait to see it in its final form. As with the rest of my skins, if you feel you can improve it,for instance by adding decals or whatever, then feel free and repost it if you do .If you want to use it some other way then just ask. I also have a template i made for this, though a very simple one ,if anyone would like it. Click here to download this file

I've included the only references i had so if anyone knows what if anything is missing feel free to update it. Tbh i got a bit bored and frustrated trying to get everything right so its probably not as good as it should be but i think it looks ok in flight. I forgot to add the credits for the makers of the Viggen model but i guess you know thwm if you have the model, but anyway a big thank you to them :)). I also should have said that you need to create a folder called "Blue" in the Viggen folder to unzip to. Click here to download this file

Adding New Fuel Tanks
Deadhead posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Hey all , how you all doing? I'm here to make a pest of myself again . the problem i have is that i need to make a black version of the F-16 Centreline Tank to go with a skin i'm working on and despite reading all the FAQ's and the knowledgebase and playing around with .ini files and the weapon editor i just dont seem to be able to do it , probably cos i'm stupid and missed something important but anyway i just can't do it . So please would someone take pity on and old fool and tell me in the simplest possible terms what i need to do? Hoping to hear from you tho there's no real rush cos as i say its for a skin which i am nowhere near finishing yet , but just as a taster here's a screenie of progress so far. P.S. if anyone is already working on this skin please let me know so i can save myself some heartache cos this is really difficult for me but i would like to see it finished and flying. -
Adding New Fuel Tanks
Deadhead replied to Deadhead's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Thx for the advice guys will try what you suggest, the problem was not with skin but with adding to the weapons i'm a total noob to doing that. You're right Jarink it is a Tigermeet skin , Belgian Air Force from somewhere around 1998 i think, i've had a Revell 48th scale model of this F-16 for some years now and never built it (probably never will now cos i get very little time for modelling these days) and i have a few photos in Air Forces Monthly magazine so i have plenty references but its not easy translating them into a decent skin, least not for me hehe. Thx again m8s will let u know how i get on. -
Dis-similar weapon loads
Deadhead posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Hi all, I'm new to WoE and this forum so i'm probably asking a question that's covered elsewhere tho' i can't find it anywhere, what i would like to know is if it's possible to put dissimilar weapon loads on any aircraft, for instance, an F-4 with 2 different type of bombs on port and starboard inner pylons,or maybe an ECM pod on centreline pylon ? I see that in campaign mode at least the A-10 offers 2sidewinders to starboard and an ecm pod to port so i would guess it must be possible to do something similar for all aircraft. Hope i'm not being too much of a noob asking this and i would be grateful if someone can give me an answer, even if its just tp say it's not possible :)) Thx in advance.. Oh and btw is it possible to post skins to this forum? -
Dis-similar weapon loads
Deadhead replied to Deadhead's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
OK Caesar and all others who took the time to explain things i think i've finally got the hang of this ,just tried it and i can now hang an ECM pod under one wing and a chaff/flare pod under the other so guess the rest should be easy. It's just a shame that you're limited to 6 groups (sigh) but i suppose things would just get silly if you could have all the stations carrying different weapons lol. So once again many thx. -

File Name: Winter RAF F-4 File Submitter: Deadhead File Submitted: 25 Jul 2006 File Category: SF F-4 Skins Don't know if this is particularly accurate or historic, but iv'e seen similar temporary winter camouflage on several RAF aircraft over the years which were applied for excercises in Norway. All i did was apply "white" areas over the green of the stock RAF Phantom, which is just how the RAF did it with washable paint. Hope you like this ,add it to textures as with the Tigerskin i posted earlier Click here to download this file
